Loving Touch Animal Hospital Reviews
I had previous experience with Loving Touch in 2022 for my dog's dental. I gave them a 5 ★ review then. They were amazing. But I have since deleted that review so I can make sure my new review is seen.I needed to schedule a follow-up appointment after a visit to the emergency vet, I chose here. I suspected it might be time and I wanted him to be surrounded by caring people, but also have a chance. I was willing to go miles, if he was willing. The vet gave me no answers, just confirmed a heart murmur. No suspicions, nothing. My options were give a dog, with obvious neurological issues, a ton of vaccines - nope - and blood work, or euthanize. And when I asked the vet her thoughts, it was simply "it would be a kindness". Ya don't say.. they took him to the back to place the IV to administer sedative, etc. Shortly after, he had a seizure and passed on his own, at least I hope it was on his own. I had a private cremation done, asked for all the paw prints, nose prints, and a fur clipping. I've had dogs for 20 years.. have done rescue for 20 years.. and it's STANDARD PRACTICE to get a fur clipping. I even stood over his body and asked for one, more than once. I was assured I would get one. It's even printed ON THE INVOICE. GUESS WHAT?!?!? I HAVE NO FUR FROM MY DOG who is nothing but ashes now. I'm sure this is not their first experience with a pet passing or euthanasia, so this level of incompetence is shocking and unacceptable. Thank you for bringing back painful memories and reminding me to always trust my gut when something feels off. If you care about your pet, DO NOT GO HERE. I guess I'll see if I can pull some fur off his blanket and clothes.
Jul 01, 2025 · Janet DavisIf I could give negative stars I would! My dog was brought here by a groomer who cut her tongue while giving her a haircut. I understand accidents happen but my dogs tongue required stitched which means it was pretty bad. Upon arriving we were put in the room with the groomer who cut and transported my dog to the vet! I was very irritated at this and it made me uncomfortable but I dealt with it.Second red flag was the fact that I heard my dog bark/scream/howl I don’t know what to call it because I’ve never heard her make that sound in my life! Turns out she was barking over seeing “another dog” which I just dismissed cause at this point I was still processing all the blood I was seeing on my dogs snout. They brought her to me to explain why she was sounding like that so this was the first interaction since getting call from groomer.Third and final red flag was the staff member who came in our room and directly told the groomer she “needed her” and they both walked out.It was AFTER the groomer came back to tell us,the OWNERS of the pet who is being seen, that the staff needed her to cut more of my dogs facial hair to properly put stitches in.Wait what!!!??? Why was I not asked if I was ok with the groomer doing this?!? The groomer just came in, and possibly due to negligence! I am still investigating that part…so why would you re traumatize my dog?!? Loving touch where?! That is unprofessional and unethical and just morally wrong to not have a conversation with us first and this hospital likely doesn’t have groomers just hanging out in waiting rooms so what do you all do in other time? I will let EVERYONE know about this place. I got a call from the vet saying the hospital was reaching out to her about my dogs recovery, yet we haven’t received not ONE call from them. What a joke. Take your furry loved ones somewhere else that cares and supports the owners and the pets.
Jan 23, 2025 · Monica BentonThe staff were so very helpful. The vet herself was top notch. I would definitely recommend them for all your pet concerns
Jun 06, 2025 · Melissa adamsWe had had a bad experience with another area vet with regards to my cat Kiki, but a friend of ours recommended Loving Touch for all of our pets. When Kiki was diagnosed with cancer, Loving Touch gave us the best possible care (at reasonable cost I'll add). They recognized that Kiki wasn't "just a cat" (as the previous vet had treated her) - she was part of our family and deeply, deeply, loved. Thanks to Loving Touch, we got almost a full year with our sweet Kiki before she passed away this spring. Because of Loving Touch, she got to meet our first (human!) son, and was comfortable and free from pain. Loving Touch recognizes the love we all have for our furry best friends and gives the empathy and respect you'd want to see to them and their care.
Apr 02, 2025 · Natalie PattersonThis clinic is professional and kind to my animals. I want to especially thank Rheanna for being so helpful today. She was patient and thorough with all the instructions for my kitten's new medications.
