Vergennes Animal Hospital Reviews
My canine companion and I had a great experience there today. The front desk staff were super friendly, and they were able to get me in for a same-day appointment when my dog wasn’t feeling well. The vet (Dr Garrett) spent plenty of time with me and made sure my concerns were heard. He involved me in shared decision making about which diagnostic testing was needed. They took great care of my pup. Great, clean facilities and I felt like prices were super reasonable. Highly recommend!

Apr 29, 2025 · Allison SquiresDr. Becca has been Sadie's , our 10 yr. old goldendoodle's vet since she was a puppy. She has always been extremely gentle, thorough, compassionate and attentive to our needs. Sadie recently needed ACL surgery of her left hind leg which was performed by Dr. Greg Carlton. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of the procedure, and the wonderful care Sadie received post surgery. The staff is always very welcoming and pleasant. We highly recommend VAH for your pet's needs with confidence.

Jun 18, 2025 · Angela SimardVergennes Animal Hospital has been very helpful with my elderly cat - when her thyroid got stuck in overdrive, when she escaped and came back super skinny, and when her little kitty kidneys started getting worn out. They're very conscientious about avoiding cat/dog encounters, explain things clearly, and offer all of the options available to take care of my little one.
