Vetco Vaccination Clinic Introduce
For pet owners across California, staying on top of preventative care is a key part of ensuring a pet's long and healthy life. However, the cost and time commitment of a full-service veterinary visit can sometimes be a barrier to getting essential services like vaccinations and parasite prevention. In Roseville, Vetco Vaccination Clinic provides a valuable solution, offering a convenient and affordable way to get routine care for dogs and cats. This clinic operates with a streamlined model, focusing on core services to make pet health more accessible to the community. Located inside a Petco store, it provides a familiar and easy-to-reach location for pet parents to take care of crucial health needs. The philosophy of Vetco is centered on providing "Essential Care," ensuring that pets receive the necessary vaccinations and preventative treatments without the added cost and time of a full exam. This approach is designed to complement a pet's primary veterinary care, acting as a convenient stop for routine health maintenance.
The core mission of Vetco Vaccination Clinic is to make fundamental veterinary services as easy and affordable as possible. They understand that for many pet owners, especially those with multiple animals, the financial burden of veterinary care can be significant. By specializing in specific services like vaccinations and microchipping, they are able to offer these treatments at a competitive price, often without a separate exam fee. This focus on affordability and convenience is a major draw for many clients. The clinic operates on a schedule that is often more flexible than traditional veterinary hospitals, with services available at various times throughout the week. This allows pet owners to fit essential care into their busy schedules more easily. While a primary focus is on routine services, they also offer a range of products and medications, including flea and tick treatments and Petco Pharmacy services fulfilled by Vetsource, making it a convenient one-stop-shop for many common pet health needs. The streamlined process is designed to be smooth and quick, a feature that is often praised by clients who value their time.

Choosing a veterinary clinic for your pet’s needs is a significant decision. What makes Vetco Vaccination Clinic worth considering is its exceptional convenience and affordability for core preventative services. For many pet owners, Vetco's model is a perfect fit, offering a quick and cost-effective way to get necessary vaccinations and parasite control. This can be especially beneficial for new pet owners or those on a strict budget. The seamless process and friendly staff, as noted in a positive review, can make the experience smooth and pleasant for both the pet and the owner. However, it's crucial for potential clients to be aware of the clinic’s limitations. Some reviews highlight negative experiences related to communication and inconsistent policies, where a vet may refuse to perform a service based on a "new safety rule," leading to frustration and distrust. While the provided information mentions a positive review, it is important to acknowledge that some customer experiences can be less than ideal.
For this reason, it is always recommended that pet owners maintain a relationship with a full-service veterinary hospital for comprehensive care, emergencies, and medical issues. Vetco is a specialized service, excellent for its specific purpose, but it is not a replacement for a full-service vet. The provided information notes that Vetco offers "Essential Care," which should be interpreted as a focus on routine, non-emergency, and non-complex health needs. For California residents seeking a reliable and affordable place for quick vaccinations and basic preventative care, Vetco Vaccination Clinic can be a great option. However, it should be used in conjunction with a trusted, primary veterinary provider who can handle all of a pet's health needs throughout their life. The clinic’s strength lies in its ability to fill a specific niche in the veterinary landscape, providing a valuable service with a focus on convenience and affordability.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Terrible experience. We have been getting our dog vaccinated at this clinic for years without any issues. This time, however, the doctor refused to give the vaccine, citing some “new safety rules.”My dog is an 8-year-old Miniature Pinscher who has never bitten anyone in his life. He was a little excited, which is completely normal in a place full of people and dogs, but he showed absolutely no aggression. Not only were we refused the vaccine, but the medical record falsely stated that my dog “attempted to bite.” This is a complete lie — no one even touched him during the visit. The dishonesty from the veterinarian, used to cover up her lack of professionalism, is unacceptable and has destroyed my trust in this clinic.
August 14 · Elena ElenaGreat service and handled my dog with extra care. The process was smooth and the staff was friendly.
July 07 · Regan RichardsonI have tried to schedule twice with VETCO for the vaccine clinic in the last two months. They cancelled last minute same day on my first attempt, and sent a little coupon as if that makes up for my time. I rescheduled. On the second attempt, my cat soiled himself and carrier so I had to carry him in. He’s completely leash trained, and was calm in store and just sitting in my arms with a full harness and leash on while covered in pee on his legs. I had one of the first if not the first time slots available (no one else there yet). The employee told me I needed a crate for my cat (I haven’t seen this requirement on a reservation or advertised). I explained what happened and was told they could try to find one to use. After a minute, I was informed they had no crate for me to borrow so I’d have to ask the front for one and possibly buy it. I ended up having to buy either an expensive cardboard crate or small carrier. I bought one. I finally returned to the clinic side of the store only to find out their digital system was down. After waiting several minutes with multiple other people and pets, they informed us we’d have to wait for the manager to get there in 30min and hopefully be able to fix it. If we couldn’t wait they could call back or send a coupon. Terrible experience and no offer was made to refund the carrier and I didn’t feel right asking to return it since my cat had pee on him. 100% would not recommend vetco or the Roseville Petco/vetco for vaccines.
December 26 · Abigail HeagyVery nice customer service and Veterinarian Service. I'd highly recommend this for an inexpensive way to get your dog up on all its vaccinations.
December 17 · Cherry HooverThe only good thing was the fact my puppy got a needed vaccine. She is 2 days away from being 12 weeks but the wouldn’t give her all 3 shots she needed due to her being the 2 days away. If you make an appointment don’t expect to be seen at that time unless you’re the first one of the day. Even another customer said she’s been disrespected at this location but needed the rabies vaccines for her dogs. The vaccines are given on a metal table in the middle of an aisle in the store and if I’m paying over $50 for one vaccine I’d like to at least be seen when my appointment was scheduled. They want you there 10 minutes early only for you to wait 30 minutes to be seen. I was also told that I needed to get my puppy in training classes now and not wait until she’s vaccinated because she needs training but she’s not even 12 weeks and I’m not taking her to a training class until she’s fully protected against everything.
