Chicago Reptile House Reviews
I cannot say enough about this establishment. The owner, the manager, all of the employees. We drive 40 minutes to come to not only purchase any supplies, but to ask questions. We are new bearded dragon owners, and the patience and time these guys have taken to answer all of my questions has been nothing short of phenomenal. They are not out to make money, they answer questions with expertise, are so kind. I cannot say enough. Thank you all so much.
Jun 29, 2025 · Kristin OHoly sh!t was this an amazing experience! I had just put my first bearded dragon to sleep and when I explained my situation, he spent FOREVER explaining various breeds, behaviors, and temperaments for my best, next experience.I gladly spent time and money here, PURELY based on their patience, knowledge, and generosity. DEFINITELY coming back and I recommend you do the same!
May 25, 2025 · Aaron HawkinsWe take our blue fronted amazon parrot to get his nails and wings clipped and beak shaped as needed. The staff is kind and informative. They have a large variety of exotic pets, food, and supplies to meet your needs!
Jul 02, 2025 · Quiana DavisI really love CRH but even with my own research aside, I was given some pretty poor advice from these guys when purchasing dart frogs — ultimately resulting in the death of 8 of them, because no, you cannot mix species (as I was advised). After ruling out diseases, and even with an adequate tank set up, the stress of mixing species was too much. My only three remaining are the leucomelas because they’re a more durable species of dart frogs. Fingers crossed it’s smooth sailing from here and I can begin to enjoy these beautiful frogs.
Apr 07, 2025 · DanielleVery knowledgeable amazing people I've been coming here since I was a little teen probably 27 years, helped me with setting up many enclosures for various reptiles and amphibians.
