Very rude vat and staff. The only reason I came was for a rabbies shot for my cat. I purchase a my other shots and give them myself. I highly recommend that for anyone. You can purchase the shot for $8 vs $50 through the vet. The vet kept pressuring me to get the shots done and trying to up sell me. When they finally realized I wasnt going to purchase anything other than what I came for they rudely grabbed my got and aggressively put the needle in her. I do not recommended these people at all. Go buy your shots at tractor supply. - Tim Crenshaw

The Vetco Vaccination Clinic is located at 50 Ernest W Barrett Pkwy NW #500, Marietta, GA 30066, USA, inside the local Petco store. This location is particularly convenient for residents of Marietta and the surrounding areas, as it allows you to combine your pet’s veterinary needs with your regular errands, such as shopping for pet food or supplies.

The clinic and the host store are designed with accessibility in mind. There is a wheelchair-accessible car park, making it easy for individuals with mobility challenges to navigate to the entrance. The entrance itself is wheelchair-accessible, ensuring a smooth entry into the building. Additionally, a wheelchair-accessible toilet is available, which demonstrates a commitment to providing a comfortable and convenient experience for all customers.

One of the key features of this location is its appointment-required model. While this may seem less flexible than a walk-in clinic, it is designed to ensure a more streamlined and efficient process. By scheduling an appointment, you can minimize wait times and help the staff prepare for your pet's specific needs. This system helps to reduce the stress of a vet visit for both the pet and the owner, ensuring a more organized experience.

What is worth choosing

For pet owners in Marietta, choosing the Vetco Vaccination Clinic is an option for certain routine needs due to its specific focus on convenience and affordability. This clinic is designed for those who need to get basic preventative care services completed without the added time and cost of a full veterinary exam. The most compelling reason to consider Vetco is its model of providing low-cost, essential vaccinations and microchipping. For a pet that is otherwise healthy and up-to-date on its annual check-ups, Vetco can be a cost-effective choice for a rabies shot or other routine boosters. The clinic's straightforward pricing and the absence of a separate office visit fee are designed to appeal to budget-conscious pet owners.

The convenience of the location is another significant factor. By operating inside a Petco store, Vetco allows pet owners to easily get their pet's vaccination and pick up pet food, toys, or other supplies in one trip. This "one-stop-shop" model is practical for individuals with busy schedules. The store’s accessibility features, including wheelchair-accessible parking, entrance, and toilet, are also a benefit that ensures a smoother experience for all customers. The clinic's appointment-based system, while less flexible than a walk-in, helps to manage the flow of clients and can potentially reduce the amount of time you spend waiting.

However, it is important to note that this type of clinic is not a substitute for a traditional veterinarian. As is common for low-cost, express clinics, some customer feedback has pointed to experiences with pressure to purchase additional services and, in some rare cases, issues with customer service. This highlights the importance of using this clinic for specific, planned services and for pets that are generally healthy. It is always recommended that you maintain a relationship with a full-service veterinary hospital for comprehensive health exams, diagnostics, and emergency care. A traditional vet provides a continuity of care that is crucial for monitoring a pet's long-term health and addressing more complex medical issues.

In conclusion, the Vetco Vaccination Clinic is a valuable option for Georgians seeking a simple, low-cost solution for specific preventative care needs like vaccinations and microchipping. It's a convenient resource for healthy pets, allowing you to manage essential care efficiently and affordably. For pet owners who understand its limited scope and maintain a separate relationship with a full-service vet for all other medical needs, Vetco can be a helpful tool in their pet's healthcare routine.
