Vetco Vaccination Clinic Introduce
For pet parents in Tulsa and the wider Oklahoma region seeking accessible, affordable, and focused preventive veterinary services, the **Vetco Vaccination Clinic** is a highly popular and convenient option. Operating primarily as an express clinic within a neighborhood retail setting, Vetco specializes in core wellness services, making it simpler and more affordable to keep up with vital health requirements like vaccinations and parasite prevention. This model offers an alternative to full-service veterinary hospitals for routine, non-emergency care, and is designed to provide quick, licensed veterinarian attention for preventative needs without the typical appointment wait times or exam fees associated with a traditional clinic.
The clinic's primary offerings include essential protective measures such as all required **Vaccinations** for both dogs and cats, along with comprehensive **Pest & Parasite Prevention & Testing**. They are also a key provider of **Microchipping** services, offering a simple way to ensure your beloved companion has a permanent form of identification. The clinic experience is characterized by efficiency and a friendly approach, as noted by local clients who have described the veterinary staff as “sweet to my routy 5 mo. old pup.” The focus here is on health maintenance and education, with veterinarians often providing valuable insights, such as dietary advice regarding foods dogs should **NOT** consume (like grapes, onions, or garlic).
The Vetco Vaccination Clinic is situated inside the Petco on **9645 Riverside Pkwy Suite A, Tulsa, OK 74137, USA**. This location is highly convenient, particularly for residents in South Tulsa, and its placement inside a major pet supply store allows users to combine a vet visit with their regular shopping trip, as one customer noted, "We picked up some toys & jacket. Good day & very quick."
The clinic is committed to ensuring full access for all members of the Oklahoma community. As part of its **Onsite services**, the facility features a **Wheelchair accessible entrance**, a dedicated **Wheelchair accessible parking lot**, and a **Wheelchair accessible restroom**. This attention to accessibility ensures that pet owners with mobility restrictions can comfortably and safely bring their pets in for necessary preventive care. It is important to note that while the services are express, a system is in place for smooth operations: Appointment is required for the clinics. Clients should be prepared to present any necessary prior paperwork for services like the 3-year Rabies vaccine to ensure they receive the correct immunization schedule, as clinic policies strictly follow state law regarding proof of previous vaccination history.
The service model at Vetco is built around bundled packages tailored to the pet’s life stage, making it easy for Tulsa pet owners to understand and budget for their preventive needs. The availability of their medication fulfillment through the **Petco Pharmacy Fulfilled by Vetsource** also adds a layer of convenience for obtaining necessary prescriptions after a positive test result.

The key advantage of the Vetco Vaccination Clinic is its unique positioning in the local veterinary landscape. It fills a crucial need for focused, preventative health services delivered with an emphasis on speed and affordability, allowing Tulsa pet owners to maintain a consistent health schedule without having to budget for a full veterinary visit every time a booster or test is due.
**Features and Highlights**
- **Preventive Care Focus:** The entire clinic is streamlined for essential preventive health services—vaccines, deworming, and testing—making visits efficient and minimizing exposure time for the pet.
- **Affordable Packaging:** The availability of bundled packages like **Pup Shield Pro** and **Dog Shield** ensures a lower overall cost for a series of necessary treatments compared to purchasing services a la carte at many full-service clinics.
- **No Exam Fee Model:** Unlike most traditional veterinary practices, Vetco Vaccination Clinics do not charge a separate exam fee, making the total cost of vaccinations and microchipping substantially lower.
- **Convenient Location and Service:** Situated inside Petco, it allows for a convenient "errand" style of visit. All services are **Onsite services**, meaning the licensed veterinarian performs all procedures within the store.
- **Accessibility:** The clinic is fully equipped with **Wheelchair accessible entrance**, parking, and restroom, underscoring its commitment to serving all local pet owners.
- **Licensed Veterinary Care:** All immunizations and tests are administered by a **Veterinarian** or their trained staff, ensuring professional standards of medical care and advice.
For residents in the Oklahoma region, choosing the Vetco Vaccination Clinic at the Tulsa Petco location is a practical, cost-effective decision for managing routine, preventative pet health. **What is worth choosing** about this clinic is the clear focus on accessibility—both in terms of location and cost—for the necessary building blocks of pet health: immunizations, parasite control, and microchipping. For a responsible pet owner, ensuring your dog or cat is current on all their shots and protected from common parasites is non-negotiable, and Vetco offers one of the most streamlined and budget-friendly ways to achieve this. While it is crucial to remember the **Appointment required** rule and to bring all necessary prior vaccination records—especially for the 3-year Rabies vaccine—the value provided in their package deals and the elimination of the exam fee is a powerful advantage for the Tulsa community.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic Reviews
- I used the Vetco @ Petco at 93rd & Riverside. They were great! I was a little early & they took me as soon as they could. The Vet & her helpers were sweet to my routy 5 mo. old pup. I talked about his diet w/ the vet & I learned dogs should NOT eat grapes, onions or garlic because it's bad for their liver & apples & carrots are great snacks. All his vaccines ended up being about $150. He was pretty low key for a couple of days with a little fever but I was told that was normal. All well now.We picked up some toys & jacket. Good day & very quick. 🐶❤️ 🐶 ❤️🐶 March 30 · Regina Thorp
- I went back in December to their vaccination clinic and asked for the 3 year rabies shot. I got alot of kickback from the ladies doing the shots because i didnt have my paperwork on hand. They didnt even want to give me the 1 year without paperwork (weird). I finally pulled it up online and everything was good to go for the 3 year they said. I was happy they were content things were now good. Well when i got the paperwork it said good for a year. Thats why they were content because they still got their way. Be careful and make sure to be insistent with them on what you want. If not you will get screwed over like I did. January 21 · Aleida Urquiza
