---The overall experience at a veterinary clinic is shaped by more than just the services offered. The staff's demeanor, the efficiency of the process, and the environment itself play a crucial role. One of the highlights mentioned in a customer review is the staff's kindness and thoroughness. The customer noted that the staff was "very friendly and everything was so well organized." This suggests a commitment to providing a positive and efficient experience. Dr. Holguin was specifically mentioned for being "very kind and thorough," which highlights a personal and caring approach to pet health.

---Deciding on the best veterinary care for your pet involves weighing various factors. What makes
Vetco Vaccination Clinic
a potential choice for pet owners in Los Angeles? For many, the primary draw is the affordability and convenience of the services offered. The clinic's focus on routine, preventative care like vaccinations and microchipping can save pet owners a significant amount of money compared to a full-service animal hospital, which often includes a general exam fee. This model is particularly appealing for owners of young, healthy pets who only need standard preventative measures. The positive feedback about the friendly staff and organized process also contributes to a positive customer experience, making visits less stressful for both pets and their owners.
However, it's also important to consider the potential downsides. As highlighted in a less-positive review, some customers have experienced condescending staff members who seemed to invalidate their concerns. A pet owner mentioned that their concerns about their dog potentially having mites were dismissed, with the staff insisting it was fleas without a proper examination. This suggests that while some staff may be friendly and thorough, there can be inconsistencies in customer service. It's crucial for pet owners to feel heard and respected, and a breakdown in communication can lead to a negative experience.
Additionally, because this is a vaccination clinic and not a full-service hospital, it may not be equipped to handle more complex diagnoses. For any pet with a non-obvious illness or a serious condition, a full-service veterinary hospital with in-house labs and diagnostic equipment would be the more appropriate choice.
In summary,
Vetco Vaccination Clinic
offers a great value for straightforward preventative care in Los Angeles. If your pet needs a vaccine, microchip, or basic parasite prevention, this clinic provides an affordable and efficient solution. However, for any medical concerns that require more in-depth diagnosis or treatment, it is best to consult a full-service veterinary hospital. By being aware of the clinic's specific focus and managing your expectations, you can make a choice that best serves your pet's health and your peace of mind.Vetco Vaccination Clinic Services

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I took my two 3 month old male Pomeranian brothers in to receive their second set of vaccinations. The staff was very friendly and everything was so well organized not to mention that the pricing was great! Dr. Holguin was very kind and thorough and asked me if I had any concerns? Which I did not. Everyone made my puppies feel so comfortable, especially when they were given the can of treats! I will always recommend Vetco to anyone!
August 11 · Tom BrunakExtremely condescending staff. I expressed that I believe my dog may have mites (because because she’s scratching often but there are no signs of fleas) and the person (they/them) at check-in completely invalidated my concern and was “so sure” that it was fleas… it’s not. They didn’t listen to a word I was saying; immediately judging me and jumping to the worst. Additionally, my puppy was being a bit energetic and playfully barking (which was annoying but not aggressive) and when I made it to the area where vaccinations were given, I made a comment regarding her behavior and how I had never seen her act that way (which is true) and the vet/tech literally ignored me.. didn’t acknowledge my presence in the slightest. So I said “hello” and they barely responded so I walked out and said they were “interesting people” what I really meant was that they were rude and condescending and acted like they didn’t want to help me from beginning to end. There was only one person who took over the interaction afterwards who was kind (short bubbly woman with dark hair).
August 21 · Keonte TurnerI've been here since they opened. 2nd person in line and it's been over an hour 25 minutes. However, the vet is very nice. She takes her time with you and listens to your concerns. If you are in a rush this is not the place for service. I give 3 1/2 stars due to the long wait; otherwise, 5 stars.
March 09 · Time2danzThe Veterinarians and Assistants were very kind and thorough! Being able to see and be with my dog during his visit is everything I wanted. The service and costs are excellent. I’ve stopped going to my neighborhood vet because they price gouge and will not allow you to be in the room when your pet is being treated. It’s crazy! Vetco is my new Vet Clinic for all of my fur baby’s needs! Thank you!
July 20 · Claudine SaidThe actually service was 5 stars. But the flea medication that I paid over $200 for does not work. My cats still have fleas. They are indoor cats and the environment is free of fleas. They got fleas from our family dog early in the summer and for the past 2 months the flea meds have not worked. The family dog also still has fleas. The meds did not work for her either.Don’t waste your money on the prescription meds. It’s clear fleas are now immune to these as well.
