★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I love that I can stay with my pup while she’s under their care. My pup is a pro with vet visits and is well-behaved, outside of rear probes, but the team handled it all with great care. We were the only ones in for the evening that needed care, but the customer service was above and beyond.Dr. Rusch and Mahogany: Thank you for the great care you took and answering my questions. Whiskey appreciated the extra love and attention. Thanks for all you do to keep our pets safe and healthy!
August 20 · A KennedyBy far the best emergency vet clinic around! The entire staff was very friendly, caring, knowledgeable and had great bedside manners. They not only treat your fur baby like it’s their own, they also keep the owner informed and at ease. If another emergency arises we will most definitely go back. Highly recommend!!!
July 17 · Lori WagnerI brought my baby in for a terrifying copperhead snake bite. I immediately brought her in and they calmed both of our nerves and took the best care of my girl. With a rush coming in behind us staff was resilient in making sure everyone was safe and cared for. So thankful for this amazing group. I have never been to a more friendly and supportive vet. I can’t recommend this ER enough.
May 24 · Miranda CazaresThis was my first visit to VEG with my dog, who was experiencing some discomfort and redness along her gum line. During the exam, the attending vet asked to trim some hair to get a clearer view, which I had no issue with. However, when she brought the clippers near my dog’s face, my pup—who is typically calm but understandably nervous due to the irritation—became a little uneasy. I offered to help gently hold her, as she is not aggressive and the redness was visible. To my surprise, the vet suggested sedation. I was shocked by this recommendation, especially considering this was a simple visual inspection—not a surgical or invasive procedure. While some medication was prescribed and we were advised to follow up with our regular vet if symptoms continued, I left feeling uneasy and unsatisfied with the visit. In addition, the consultation took place in the lobby rather than a private exam room. Thankfully no other animals present at the time, it was uncomfortable to be seen in the middle of a shared space without privacy. For a medical concern, I expected a more appropriate and professional setting.Because of my concerns, we took her to another emergency clinic in Southlake later that day. There, the veterinarian was able to examine her thoroughly without issue, and we left confident in the treatment plan. Unfortunately, this meant we incurred additional costs unnecessarily, as we did not feel the care provided at VEG met the standard expected. Given the circumstances I should be refunded at minimum for the consult.
May 20 · Tiffany CabreraI had to bring my dog in for an emergency surgery on Wednesday night and I felt taken care of from the second my hand hit the handle of the front door. Asher is recovering rapidly! This was my first incident with Asher but if anything were to happen again I would 100% return to this clinic! Very clean facility as well. Every staff member was in good spirits and showed Asher (and I) much love and care.A special thank you to:Dr. PetreNurse: Emily, HannahCEC: Desiree
