★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Thanks to the wonderful staff at Kstate my boy Ares made a safe trip home tonight.I brought my dog Ares… who happens to be my entire world into the ER after he had experienced a seizure, they quickly rushed him into treatment to get him stable and aware of the world around him.I was a complete wreck, but they were very understanding and got information quickly after he was brought into the back.A few hours later with updates in between I had been given options on how to go further with his treatment plan, and everything was explained in a way I understood fully. After moving forward I patiently, and with great worry, waited for my boy to be ready to go home. Once he was stable a staff member brought me to the back and assured me that Ares was a very good boy, and super sweet. She also informed me he was on his way to a full recovery, and we are hopeful it would have been a one time occurrence. As I type this, my dog mom heart is healing from the worry, pain, and heartache I felt as I watched my poor dog who’s only a year old experience something I know all too much about. I will be forever grateful for the urgency, and calmness they treated Ares with. Thanks to such amazing angels my boy was tucked into bed with his favorite toy, and told goodnight as we always have.-Sincerely, Kat C.Pictures of my boy!!! - I cannot recommend them enough! After a run-in with pesticide toxicity, they saved my cat. Orion and Dr. Roberts were nothing but kind and compassionate to me during some of the most stressful 36 hours I’ve had as a cat owner. They kept me updated every step of the way and called me every time something changed. Their love for animals was very clear, as well. While the care was pretty expensive, it was worth it for the peace of mind knowing my cat would be okay, as well as the compassion of the staff. May 06 · Navi Balthazor
- My cat Charlie was in the ICU at KState VHC for nearly 6 days, and I’m so grateful for the incredible care he received. Dr. Harkin was thorough, thoughtful, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Lucy Schermerhorn, the student on his case, was amazing—she kept me updated daily and showed so much kindness and empathy. The only hiccup was a small billing typo that I’m still waiting to be resolved, but overall, I highly recommend them. The team truly cared for Charlie like he was their own. June 23 · Sarah Bowling
- We traveled from La Vista Ne with our Luna girl (9 yr rottie) with a broken femur. The care and support given was exceptional. The surgery didn’t happen bc it was discovered that she had cancer. I want to thank he staff for their compassion, we appreciate you! July 29 · Diane Chapin
- We took our sweet rescue dog in to have her cloudy eyes checked. Everyone we dealt with was kind, compassionate, and professional - to us and to our dog. We would recommend their vet clinic to anyone. August 06 · Christy Kass
