Thanks to the wonderful staff at Kstate my boy Ares made a safe trip home tonight.I brought my dog Ares… who happens to be my entire world into the ER after he had experienced a seizure, they quickly rushed him into treatment to get him stable and aware of the world around him.I was a complete wreck, but they were very understanding and got information quickly after he was brought into the back.A few hours later with updates in between I had been given options on how to go further with his treatment plan, and everything was explained in a way I understood fully. After moving forward I patiently, and with great worry, waited for my boy to be ready to go home. Once he was stable a staff member brought me to the back and assured me that Ares was a very good boy, and super sweet. She also informed me he was on his way to a full recovery, and we are hopeful it would have been a one time occurrence. As I type this, my dog mom heart is healing from the worry, pain, and heartache I felt as I watched my poor dog who’s only a year old experience something I know all too much about. I will be forever grateful for the urgency, and calmness they treated Ares with. Thanks to such amazing angels my boy was tucked into bed with his favorite toy, and told goodnight as we always have.-Sincerely, Kat C.Pictures of my boy!!! - Kat Carmony
