Veterinary Medical Center of Athens Reviews
We have used them several times now and they are always fantastic. I see a negative review just below mine and weirdly Google lets you see what other reviews the same people are leaving elsewhere, quite a history of bad reviews. These people deserve better. They saved our Dottie and have been taking wonderful care of our Ruth too.
June 14 · MnJI took my dog in after being hit by a car and the medical team took amazing care of him. From surgery, to post op/recovery. They even sent me a photo while he was in recovery so I could see my baby. The entire team is so patient and answered all my questions. I’m so glad to have found this clinic and will definitely be using them for all my babies in the future. It’s a plus that they are open every day until 10pm. Huge shoutout to Dr. Shields for taking amazing care of my baby boy. And for the team calling every day to check up on him.
August 11 · Jen A.I gotta say, my brother and dad are great vets. The staff is exceptional, too. If you need extensive surgery and live in Dallas, come to our town and join the club!!When reading some negative reviews, it makes my heart sink. I never wanted to be a vet for all of the chaotic circumstances of being a hero one second and being a villain the next. It truly is hard as a vet to serve the public human nature.I know it is biased, but I'm so impressed with how my animals have been given love throughout the years. My newest dog needs a root canal within the next five months, and I'm saving up the money to pay the normal amount in honor of their service, .. although it could be free. The time my rabbit was treated did touch my heart. Unfortunately, it was an emergency euthanasia, but there was no suffering. The clinic is admirable for being quick and reasonably priced, and that is a fact most of all.Unfortunately, I remember my dad not being paid a dime several times for taking responsibility for an animal's tragic situation with their owner, even after hours. So many times, it is nobody's direct fault that something bad happened, but my dad's for trying at least. Other times, I saw him get more than enough to help the public, which then he re-invested substantially.Money is a tool used to serve another better, most of all. I've also seen so many times when people get a lucky break, as well.I'm so sorry for anyone's loss. It is only natural to grieve with all kinds of blame.
June 05 · Jesse MortonThank y’all for taking care of my family member Bo! Without places like y'all open on Sunday’s I don’t know where I would have turned to. These people are compassionate, professional, and took great care of him. Poodle ended up needing stitches and he’s already done some big stretch’s with everything holding. These folks are well worth the money!
July 28 · Marc OstrowskiBoth of our dogs got parvo recently. One was put in the pet hospital and one was cared for at home. Our dog that was in the hospital has fully recovered and is back to his old self. He has his bounce back. The other fur babies we did the home care kit and it worked amazingly... they are both recovered and back to a healthy life. I recommend this veterinary center to anyone who wants the best care for their sick fur babies. We love and appreciate the love and care given by the hospital staff. The staff called every day to give a report and update us with everything they did. Absolutely recommend them.
