★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Okay I'm not going to lie, surgery is expensive! My sweet Stella had an encounter with another dog that resulted in her left jaw broken in several fragments, leaving her entire bottom jaw just hanging on crooked and tongue uncontrollably hanging out. The staff here was very professional and the surgeon was top notch. He explained with much detail exactly how the procedure was going to go and she would need a metal plate with screws to hold it all in place. I'm glad I went with the surgeon I did, Dr Noone - he did an excellent job. Stella goes everywhere with me and I was horrified at what it might look like after he was done because the damage was so extensive. I literally couldn't sleep the night before I was so nervous about it. I got her back today and she is doing great. She had to stay overnight and the total wound up being over $6,000 but other than that I don't think it could have gone better - she looks like she will heal pretty perfectly! Here are pictures of her before and just after the surgery. I will update this post once it's all over and done with as far as follow-up and end result.
April 16 · Jennifer FowlerDr. Noone went above and beyond for our dog! In our consulting visit, he was able to provide me with several indicators of what our dog's initial treatment plan could be. Following our dog's imaging visit, I was able to speak with Dr. Noone at pick up. He explained, in great detail, what the x-ray results are at this phase. Even though we're still pending US results, I have full confidence in this practice's decision making. The staff are also wonderful. This is the exact care I wish I could get with a human physician, so it's wonderful they are doing this for our dog!
May 15 · Alyssa HarrisonI have mixed feelings on the vet. Ultimately, my cat is ‘healed’ (or so we hope). We were referred here after our vet consulted with Dr. Noone after they (our current vet) misdiagnosed a leg fracture. I guess they don’t call it the “practice of medicine” for nothing. The immediate recommendation upon referral was to do a bone biopsy which felt very invasive so I asked if there was nothing we could pursue test wise first. On her initial consult day they did do bloodwork, x-rays and an ultrasound ($1600). After everything came back appearing ‘normal’ he said bone biopsy was the next step. We scheduled for 5 days later ($1100). Pathology returned that her issue was a bone infarction (basically bone death due to loss of blood supply). Advice from the vet was to take her home, rest, don’t let her run, jump, etc. which we did.It was apparently 3-4 weeks in that something was not correct so I moved up her follow on appointment and questioned the diagnosis. The vet took serious issue (based on his attitude) with me doing so, but as it turns out the diagnosis wasn’t accurate after all. Another x-ray ($400) and we find out that her leg bone had deteriorated to the point that our only option left was to amputate. We did that two weeks ago ($4800) and the entire bone was sent off for pathology. Diagnosis Round 2? Cancer. She had her stitches removed today and asked if she needed follow-on care.Feedback? None needed. We got clean margins so I guess we assume there will be no issue? Wild to me. I’ll address that with our primary vet going forward. We are thankful to still have our cat (she’s very young, 18 months) who seems to be recovered back where she’s not hiding beneath the bed because she’s in pain. But all in all, it was terrible process getting here and some of the staff at this place to include the vet could work on their customer service/empathy skills in what is a very stressful and expensive situation for their clientele. Jeremy (aka The Cat Whisperer) was nothing but professional even when i was incredibly and outwardly frustrated at some of their processes. All in all - I would probably seek vet surgical care elsewhere if I need it in the future. Hopefully, I don’t. I’m guessing they won’t miss me either.5/23/2025 Edit: The follow on news is bad. Our kitty went to the vet after seemingly acting differently. The bone cancer that we spent thousands of dollars treating and shouldn’t need a follow up for? Well it has spread to her lungs and spine and now there is little to be done beyond make her comfortable for the few days we have left with her. I’m going to assume since her surgery was 100 days ago that it wasn’t all removed in surgery. I am absolutely devastated and so angry for my cat’s life being cut so short. My kitty is less than 2 years old. I could never recommend this business as a result of this. Maybe this would have happened regardless, I guess I will never know.
May 25 · H MooreMy dog was referred to this place to get surgery for his luxating patella. Dr. Thomas Noone was very kind and patient in the process of explaining all the options. My dog had a TPLO surgery. The process of recovery was slow as expected. But the staff was very supportive and informative in the process. My dog was finally discharged from the services and is able to walk again. I highly recommend this place. Everyone is friendly and I feel especially grateful for Dr. Noone’s services.
April 24 · Stella CDr. Noone performs miracles and we are so grateful he was able to save our little Higgins after he was hit by a car, and preserve his ability to walk and run! He literally pieced his shattered pelvis back together. His vet techs are amazing, so educated and caring too. It was expensive, but not as bad as people make it seem when you’re talking about an intricate surgery performed by a very talented surgical team. I only met the vet techs due to COVID, but I can’t thank you all enough!
