★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Wonderful veterinarian! The whole team is warm & welcoming. They take all the time you need to understand your concerns for your pet. Their treatment plans always seem appropriate and I never feel like we’re being upsold on unnecessary products or services. Very grateful to have them as a local vet!
June 04 · Dwight RuppertGreat experience - service and quality were wonderful. The technician and vet did a great job of explaining things and giving me all the options so I could make the best decision for my love dog. Very pleased with the office and will definitely keep coming back and recommending you to others! The vet and tech we saw today were both wonderful! Also the woman at the front desk was friendly, responsive and timely.5 Stars for today's visit! Proactively reached out via text to make sure my love dog was on time with his annual. And service and care while on site was great. Also, pricing was not small but very reasonable for the care.
February 10 · Kacie BoenJust came here for the first time today and I loved it!! My cat is an anxious boy, but they had no problem accommodating him and providing the best care possible. They are fear free and the staff and vets are wonderful. I can’t recommend them enough!!! Zeus says thank you for his stress free visit😊
June 02 · Tori BriscoSuch a caring and understanding visit. Gibbs was treated with such gentleness. Both the tech and vet made me feel they cared and understood my concerns. From my first phone contact to my check out I felt you cared and my Gibbs and I were not just a number. The concern over what was best for both my pet and me. During a stressful time I felt so reassured.
July 24 · Susan ClarkUpdated: Spoke with the office manager and shared my concerns. I was met with a mix of empathy and excuses.Facility is clean and staff is very pleasant. I took my pets to Villa Rosa for routine care for a couple of years and used to rave at how great this office was, but I no longer can. They charge top dollar and with that comes the expectation of a certain level of service that I stopped experiencing. I never mind paying extra for better service, but the value needs to be there.Issues:1) They don’t seem to answer the phones during business hours and there’s no commitment regarding when they’d respond if you were to leave a message. This has happened multiple times throughout this year. It’s really hard to feel cared for as a client if you can’t talk to anyone during business hours. Office manager suggested I should drive there if I had time-sensitive questions. For my most recent appointment, I was in the parking lot ready to go in, but since I have a reactive dog, the protocol is to call first to ensure the lobby is clear and his room is ready. No one answered the phone on multiple attempts, forcing me to HAVE to leave my nervous dog in the car to go in and check. There was someone sitting at the desk and not on the phone when I walked in.2) They stopped honoring electronic validation of prescription orders from third parties (i.e. Chewy) this year. The office manager stated that the portal was taking too much time.3) I left a voicemail requesting a prescription refill (their only option - you don’t get to talk to someone for this) and they refilled the Apoquel (expensive medicine) without discussing current costs or quantity desired. This was the first time we needed a refill after they stopped honoring Chewy and it was a substantial price difference. At several hundred dollars for the 2 months they filled, I’d expect a courtesy call to validate.4) I paid for tests not performed. I took my dog for full checkup in May and they didn’t do the fecal and urine tests there. They sent me home with collection containers. My boy was healthy and I had surgery the following week, so I opted to bring the samples in on his follow-up instead (my most recent appointment). They refused to run the samples without charging me again. I spoke with both the technician and the veterinarian about this and they were entirely comfortable with that choice as a business. They stated that I had 21 days, but those instructions were never shared when they sent me home with the containers or I would have been sure to comply.I told them that I couldn’t afford to pay for these tests again to see if they’d do the right thing or try and work with me on the costs. They didn’t and opted against the health of my pet. If I have to pay retail for them again, it will be at a new vet’s office. If they’re willing to do this over something so basic, they’ve lost my trust in believing that they truly value the health of my pet.
