Seven Oaks Pet Hospital Wesley Chapel Reviews
We recently had to put our beloved fur baby Zach to sleep. Dr Reddy and his team were nothing short of outstanding in the compassion and care they gave Zach and us his family. We were in a comfortable room set up like a living room and our beloved Zach was given a very loving, dignified and compassionate end of life care. We were given all the time we needed. They were loving in explaining everything to us and choosing how we wanted to commemorate him and even sent sympathy roses. Our pup had been going there for 17 years from 8 weeks old until the end. If we could give 10 stars we would. Thank you Seven Oaks Pet Hospital!
Jun 09, 2025 · Shiraz IraniSeven Oaks is by far the worst place to go. I am emontianlly, mentally, physically and financialy drained. My dog Cupid always went to Banfield Pet Hospital. They do amazing. Banfield had already did sonogram and xray for my dog. I had called on june 5th and told them Banfield results came in. He had something foreign in his small instestines and needed Emergency surgery. They told me he needed it within 24 hrs or he will die. Seven oaks said to have him there by 6pm so they could so it. Took him in they did all intial checks and said needed additional testing and needed to keep him over night. Fast forward to June 6th at 9AM they are telling me infact he had something foreign and needed surgery that unfortunately i needed to pay 6k for it. I didnt have the money as they used all my resources from care credit i uad for things he didnt need. Wasted my time and time needed for him to live. I had called every where more than 20 locations and no one could do it last minute. Drove to several places that did emergency surgeries and no one could help me due to Seven Oaks. Time was running out. I went to the Humane Society and they too couldnt help me. Within a 24hr period my dog was suffering so much from not eating in 7 days he eventually passed. I lost my best friend and so did my kids. I will never go back or even send my worst enemy there. They have no hearts. Its all about the $$$ and not the pets.
Jun 07, 2025 · Brandi WachobMy experience at Seven Oaks was incredibly disappointing and emotionally draining.I brought my cat in around 11 p.m. on a Saturday because she wasn’t acting normal. Melissa greeted me and took my cat to the back. After about 40 minutes, Dr. Thornhill came out and explained that my cat had a high fever (106°F) and needed to be admitted for further testing. Melissa later provided an estimate of $2,700. I told her I could not exceed $2,500 due to financial hardships. Melissa and I sat down together and decided on which tests were needed at this moment instead of completing all tests listed on the estimate. At 4 a.m., I called to check in and was informed by Dr. Thornhill that one of the machines was down, some tests were no longer needed, and that the total would be reduced. I was told to wait until 10 a.m. to assess her condition. At that time, Dr. Baker called to say there had been no improvements and asked to keep my cat longer for additional care. She stated she was aware of my financial limitations and said we were currently at $880. She then offered an $85 test and a $450 extended stay since this kept us within my budget. I agreed.Later, Dr. Boctor took over her care. We didn’t receive an update and had to call in ourselves. He recommended a higher dosage and another 4 hours of observation. But when I called back later to see what the additional changes would put my balance at, I was shocked to hear the bill was now $4,000. I explained that I had been communicating with the doctors about staying under $2,500. Chris the receptionist then said that the urgent care and hospital are two different entities, each with its own bill — something I was never told before. After being put on hold, I was suddenly told the bill had been reduced to $2,500.When I arrived for pickup, I was met by Chris and Gina the vet tech. Gina explained the medication and how they were not able to come to a conclusion concerning my cats health. Gina then asked for the $2,500 payment. I expressed concern since the estimate had changed multiple times, and I asked to speak to a manager or director. Chris began making disrespectful comments towards me. Gina informed me she was going to contact Dr. Baker, who agreed to reduce the bill to $1,200 “due to a misunderstanding.” At this point Gina presented her tone and demeanor with attitude and annoyance after I requested my cat’s full documentation or asking additional follow up questions. After payment, Gina handed me my cat and announced loudly that I was “discharged and no longer welcome at this facility.”This entire ordeal was incredibly stressful, and the lack of compassion and transparency was unacceptable — especially given the emotional toll of not knowing what was wrong with my cat. In the end, I was sent home with no diagnosis and a sick cat. Fast forward 3 days later she ended up with a huge opening in her stomach. I ended up taking her to another facility, where they reviewed the same X-rays provided by Seven Oaks and had to do emergency surgery. The Dr stated if we would’ve waited any longer she would’ve died. A treatment that look them 2 hours saved my cats life as opposed to Seven oaks having my cat for 12 hours and having no source of treatment. Crazy thing about it is Seven oaks documented that there was something wrong with her mammary gland and did absolutely nothing about it!A few suggestions for improvement:• Clearly explain that the urgent care and the hospital are separate facilities each with their own bills at check in not check out.• Respect clients’ financial concerns and keep communication consistent between all staff members.• Improve staff training in customer service, especially during emotional situations.• Focus care plans on patient well-being — not on maximizing the bill. The overall experience left me feeling unheard, disrespected, and taken advantage of. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously to prevent future situations like mine.

Mar 24, 2025 · Georgia BernardWhile on a family vacation, we had an emergency with our dog. We found this emergency vet hospital and immediately took her. We are overprotective and particular when it comes to our girl, so I wanted to make sure she received the best care. I’m not going to lie, I was nervous to take her to any place. Once we got there, the vet was helpful and kind. She only had a minor injury and was treated quickly to resolve the issue. We were in and out within 45 minutes. Lastly, although there isn’t an amount we wouldn’t pay for the care of our girl, I will say it was extremely reasonable. I recommend this place to anyone in need of a vet hospital.
