WellHaven Pet Health aims to differentiate itself through several key features that benefit both pets and their owners in Washington:
- Modern and Clean Facilities: Customers frequently praise the clinics for being "clean and modern," featuring "beautiful offices" and "great technology." This creates a welcoming and comfortable environment, reducing anxiety for pets and their parents.
- Caring and Professional Staff: A consistent highlight in reviews is the positive demeanor of the doctors and staff. Phrases like "They really care about your animal and about your own concerns," "Nice doctors and great staff," and "caring and compassionate" indicate a team dedicated to genuine animal welfare and client satisfaction.
- Transparent Pricing: A significant advantage for many clients is the clarity in pricing. One reviewer specifically mentioned getting "a specific answer" for the price of neutering, a welcome change from less transparent clinics. This builds trust and helps pet owners budget for their pet's care.
- Easy Appointment Scheduling: The ability to get an "appointment right away" and the ease of scheduling, including 24/7 online requests and automatic reminders via their app (PetDesk), streamline the process for busy pet owners.
- Pet Wellness Plans (Care Companion Plans): WellHaven offers comprehensive monthly wellness plans that include unlimited clinic visits, annual examinations, blood work, parasite control, and more. These plans aim to make ongoing care more affordable and predictable for pet parents.
- Fear-Free Techniques: Many WellHaven clinics are AAHA certified and embrace "Fear Free" techniques, which involve gentle handling, positive reinforcement, and strategies to minimize stress and anxiety for pets during their visits. This helps pets have a more positive association with veterinary care.
- Technology Integration: Beyond modern equipment in clinics, WellHaven utilizes mobile apps (like PetDesk) to help pet owners manage appointments, access records, and communicate with the clinic, enhancing convenience.
- Focus on Staff Well-being: WellHaven states a core philosophy of ensuring veterinarians and staff have a healthy work/life balance, believing that "when our veterinarians are happy, their patients and their families will be happy as well." This internal focus is designed to translate into better patient care.

WellHaven Pet Health Corporate Campus Reviews
Super happy with WellHaven. They really care about your animal and about your own concerns. Nice doctors and great staff. Facilities are clean and modern and I always got an appointment right away. When asked for the price of neutering I got a specific answer which was great.I have been to a different vet before and it was so hard to get an appointment and when asked for pricing it was not very transparent so I SWITCHED to WellHaven and I'm SUPER HAPPY AND COMFORTABLE bringing my dog there.
Dec 05, 2019 · Myrjam WWent in to wellhaven mill plain 10/08/2024 for an appointment after calling the night before cause my puppy was sick. Showed up and was verbally berated and physically chased out of the building by two male employees because I had made a comment that I was on a time restraint and they blew it out of proportion. Will be contacting corporate offices.
Oct 08, 2024 · Gabriel DelacruzI went in to WellHaven pet clinic simply to get my dog some flea treatment. Upon entering I wasn't even acknowledged for about 5 minutes. When the woman eventually came to help me she told me that I couldn't get flea treatment for my dog unless I brought him in for an office visit. He had been seen many times at Stark St. And was an established patient who had been given the exact same treatment I was trying to purchase. Apparently because they had new doctors, I needed to bring him in. I'm sorry, but my dog was not sick or hurt. There was no reason for me to have to pay for an office visit. I feel like they just wanted to squeeze extra money out of me. Will not be returning.
Apr 16, 2019 · Lindsay HelzerThe facilities are nice, but I hate feeling like I need to be on guard when I go to a vet about being upsold on a "plan" or unnecessary tests. This is how I felt here. I did feel like the vet actually loves animals.I went to this vet because my dog had a fungal skin infection and I left with a sales pitch of why I need their $85/month plan because a dental cleaning will cost be $500 "which is half of the annual plan". I really felt like this was 20% vet visit and 80% sales pitch. If I had to choose this over Banfield, I would. If I had this over another local, non-chain, vet I definitely would not go here again. The office visit was $50 which is reasonable.
Dec 18, 2018 · Austin CastanedaOriginally switched to this vet for the convenience (I live upstairs) but I like them so much I'd keep going even if we move. The entire staff is super friendly and they care! Drs Street and Gonzalez are both compassionate and caring doctors and explain things perfectly. Our 17 year old cat has many issues, and the doctors address each one and let me decide what actions to take, offering suggestions but not forcing unneeded tests. They have great hours too!
