★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr. Fitzpatrick has taken great care of my dog Bruce over the couple of years I've been going to the West Rome Animal Clinic. I'm very thankful for all she's done. Every other aspect of my experience with the clinic has also been positive.
August 24 · Adam VolleWe brought our Yorkie here to get a second opinion on a confusing diagnosis on her. Doctor Fitz’s took in and went through all of her records for the last veterinarian and she explained things to us so that we understood what our puppy really needed to have done and will cost us less money and still be the best decision for our baby. Our little Pixie really likes very one there and so do we they treated us with kindness and care right from the start!!! My husband really likes the waiting room because he gets free coffee!!! Lol
June 19 · PamSetting up an appointment was easy, and the girl on the phone most courteous and cooperative. Our visit was the same. It was obvious that my cat did not want to be there, but the vet and her assistants were patient and kind and got the job done.
July 20 · Juanita KingThey are true angels they saved my puppies life. I can not say enough they went above and beyond to save her. Thank you so much
May 01 · stacy Doornhaag*PLEASE READ PRIOR TO BOARDING YOUR DOGS*Our current vet does not offer boarding so after seeing all of the high reviews for West Rome, we decided to go with them for our 6 day long trip. At the very beginning, they were trying to charge additional fees for an "exam" since they do not vet our dogs. I was able to get this waived since we took both of our dogs for their annual checkup & shots, 2 weeks prior to boarding.During the boarding, called multiple times to receive an update & was unable to get ahold of anyone. Also, left voicemails & did not receive a call back.Upon picking up our dogs (around 9am in the morning), both urgently had to use the restroom & peed for a LONG time. Supposedly, they were supposed to be being taken on walks 3 times a day. Also, the blanket & toys I brought are very strong smelling of urine. Both dogs are also smelling of urine & poop as well (I can assure you they did not smell like that when we dropped them off).Facility, was very noisy & crowded & did not appear clean whatsoever.BUT, the final straw & really why we are posting, one of our dogs has really bad anxiety around fireworks. We left the vet with VERY strict instructions to only give our one dog, the medication on the 4th of July ONLY. However, when we picked up the dogs, the one who can take the medication was VERY drugged up & apparently, they gave him the medication each day without consoling me. He is barely walking, that's how sedated he is. We are so upset to say the least. Also, I was charged an additional fee for a "daily" medication. They're going to be lucky if they don't see me in court for this. Very much malpractice & we are not happy. Please do your research & pick a boarding facility/vet that will responsively take care of your fur babies. We're thankful they're not in worse condition than they are but wanted to make everyone aware, this vet is NOT safe for boarding.
