Wood River Animal Hospital Reviews
I have nothing but amazing things to say about this office. I have several pets who come here (rabbits, dogs, and cats) and each time it is obvious how much they care. They have gotten me in on the same day and in a pinch several times. I appreciate all your hard work and not getting annoyed when I need to text you a lot! Lol. Dr Fischer , Dr Shuelke , and Dr Kelley are all fabulous. The receptionists and vet techs are also kind and caring!! I will continue to come here for years.
Jan 23, 2025 · Miranda JossI can't say enough good things about Wood River. From farm calls to multiple emergency visits (even in the same day 😂) and everything in between they have been there for us. My animals have been anything but simple, normal cases and they've been there for it all. They are kind, compassionate, and provide exceptional care and service.
May 27, 2023 · Jo FerrarisThis place is amazing! I have had four dogs over the years and they have all gone to Wood River Animal Hospital. I would not take them anywhere else. Dr. Schuelke and Dr. Fischer are awesome, the vet techs are awesome. They are all very compassionate about the animals that they care for and that is evident every time my pets have gone there. They go above and beyond every time no matter what the situation is. These 4 pups have all been blessed and loved there.🙏🏻❤️
Jan 17, 2024 · Melanie ChoquetteOffice staff is unprofessional and they scalp you with prescription pricing. Went in to pick up a deworming med for our family dog - price was $68 and when I asked for the name of the med so I could look it up on Chewy - was met with obvious distain. Price with Chewy was considerably less expensive ($42) with free, expedited shipping. Took almost two days to approve the med when Ashley S, "lead receptionist" said they check the portal several times a day - she was rude and passive aggressive. Courtney, office manager, didn't return a call when requested. Conversely, Dr. Schuelke is lovely. It's too bad the office staff is awful - as they can make, or in this case, break a practice.
Jun 15, 2025 · Courtney Olean PaigeSuper friendly and helpful. We were struggling to find a place to get FAVN bloodwork done for our pets but they worked with us and their prices were good and fair!
