For local residents in California, particularly within Livermore and the wider Bay Area, selecting a pet store involves considering factors like product range, quality, and crucially, customer service. While Go Pet Club in Livermore offers a local presence for purchasing cat furniture such as cat trees and ladders, and potentially other pet accessories, it is imperative for potential customers to be fully aware of the significant concerns highlighted in public customer reviews.
The convenience of a physical location at 6818 Patterson Pass Rd suite h in Livermore allows for direct viewing of products, which can be beneficial for larger items. However, the consistent feedback from multiple customers raises serious questions about the suitability of this business for local pet owners seeking reliable and safe products, along with supportive customer service. Reviews repeatedly describe products as "very cheaply made" and "wobbly," with instances of items breaking quickly and, most disturbately, leading to reported injuries to pets due to "poorly designed" structures.
Furthermore, the experience with customer service is a critical point of concern. Reviewers describe it as "abysmal" and "a complete joke," with reported failures to honor product warranties or provide satisfactory resolutions for defective items. This lack of professional and responsive customer support, coupled with documented product safety issues and quality concerns, suggests that local Californians seeking durable, safe, and reliably supported pet products may need to exercise extreme caution or consider alternative retailers. While the local presence might initially seem appealing, the overwhelming negative feedback regarding product integrity and customer care indicates that this business may not align with the expectations of local pet owners prioritizing the safety and well-being of their animals and a positive purchasing experience.

Go Pet Club Reviews
Customer Service for Go Pet Club is abysmal. They would not honor their product and replace the cat ladder and tried charging $20 for "shipping and handling". also the cat tower I bought from them sheds excessively. It's very cheaply made so not a good deal like I originally thought. Very cheaply made and wobbly.the top stairs broke already and the kittens have been playing on this thing for only 1 hour. I expected this to be better quality so would not buy again.
Jan 31, 2024 · LJ MMY CAT GOT HURT ON THERE CAT TREES. Do not buy from this place. The costumer service is a complete joke. This company is not at all professional. My cat got squished inside one of the cat trees. POORLY DESIGNED AND GROSS. This is extremely disturbing. This is not the first time an animal has gotten hurt on your products. And not the first time you have FAILED TO DO ANYTHING AT ALL. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
Dec 30, 2024 · Sofia CaliDo not trust this companies products. A pen we purchased from Go Pet collapsed on my 10 month old German Shepherd puppy and while it's been set up for months, we can't understand how it collapsed but our puppies paw got wedged between two panels that collapsed on her. We are now in week 3 of watching her try to heal. The wound is deep and will take weeks to heal. $500 in vet bills. Go Pet is taking no responsibility for this this. They are a terrible company If you love your pet DON"T USE THIS COMPANY for any product. Don't let this happen to you
Jun 27, 2019 · Diane LaurentinoI ordered a $70 cat tree on Amazon. The item arrived damaged. The top of the main cat house was cracked and partially collapsing downward. I contacted the manufacturer as requested in the assembly manual. The company requested photos of the broken piece as well as the sales invoice. It took me a little bit to get photos of the broken piece since this was a gift, and I was busy with working and getting ready for the holidays. So it was past 30 days by the time I sent them the photos and the sales receipt. And they would no longer send a replacement piece because it had been longer than 30 days even though I initially emailed them the day that I received the product in the mail. Nor did their email state initially that I only had 30 days to send the requested information otherwise they wouldn't send a replacement part. Also there was nowhere in the literature that it said there's a 30 day limit. I would not buy from this company again. I contacted Amazon, which I will do first in the future, and they refunded me 30% of the price since the cat tower had already been assembled and repaired by the person I got it for by this time. Amazon did not ask for pictures for proof of the damage, which is what good customer service looks like. Take note.
Jan 28, 2019 · Dan JohnsonBought a grooming table from them. The price was so low I expected it to be a lower quality than the other tables I was looking at. I was happily wrong. Excellent quality at almost half the price of comparable tables. I am lucky to live close to their warehouse so I could save shipping costs and pick it up. Can’t wait for their website to be up and running so I can see what other items they carry. They do have a great selection of cat trees. And again, they charge half the price of Petco or other online pet supply companies. And the trees come in fun designs. Will be a repeat customer
