Cushing Square Veterinary Clinic Reviews
The other reviews are spot on... This place is incredible. Literally everyone there has been so welcoming and helpful that there aren't enough positive things to say about em. All 3 vets have seen our pups and I've never left without feeling like this is easily the best vet for our family. The last time I was there, I brought in our senior dog who was having balance and standing problems and Emily was SO THOUGHTFUL that she even brought in a harness from her own house for us the next day to help us lift her up when she's having problems. That's so above and beyond that you just know they love animals and want what's best for them. ❤️

The team is so good with our dog and she loves them. They make her feel so comfortable, answer all of our questions thoroughly, and are clearly knowledgeable in their field. Highly recommend!

From the moment I walked in with my dog, Andy, I was met with warmth and compassion from every member of the team. The front desk staff greeted us with genuine smiles and made the check-in process smooth and stress-free.The veterinarians truly take the time to listen and understand your concerns. When I expressed my worries about my dog, they provided thoughtful insights that put my mind at ease. It's clear that they not only prioritize the health of the pets but also the well-being of their owners. The vet techs were equally amazing, showing such care and empathy while handling my dog. Their professionalism combined with their compassionate approach made all the difference in our visit.Additionally, I appreciate their convenient hours of operation, which fit well into my busy schedule. They are also incredibly responsive via phone and email.Overall, Cushing Square Veterinary Clinic is a fantastic place for pet care. I am so grateful for the support and care they provided during a challenging time. Thank you, Cushing Square, for being such a wonderful resource for us pet parents!
Sep 05, 2024 · Morgan CambernDr. Emily Lloyd is the best vet ever! I was recommended to this practice by a neighbor. When I get another cat, I am definitely going to be returning specifically to Dr. Lloyd to care for my pet. Dr. Lloyd is compassionate, caring, flexible, down-to-earth, personable, and highly capable. Do not look any further! Thank you very much for all of your care with my feline, Dr. Lloyd, especially during such a tender time recently with my elderly cat.
Dec 25, 2024 · Katie SmithI would give this clinic zero stars if it was possible. To begin with, I inherited a family of small mammals (8) that were going to be set loose to fend for themselves. These sweet animals are only treated by vets who treat "exotic animals," (i.e., not a cat or dog) and there aren't many of these vets.I needed to make an appointment for one of them to be seen. The immediate situation was not considered an emergency, but could turn fatal. Making an appointment for my pet was not an easy task. I was finally able to get an appointment yesterday, for today (approx 24 hours ago). As life goes, life happened. I was not going to be able to make the scheduled appointment, I found out 1.5 hrs before. I called to apologize and wanted to reschedule, my pet still REQUIRED care.I was informed that because I am a new client and need to "cancel" my appointment (I asked immediately to reschedule), that Dr. Binder has recently stopped allowing this. There is the 24 hour cancellation policy(yesterday when it was made), also my appointment slot could not be "filled in time". Time for what? To recoup that lost 'new patient' fee? That appointment slot was "empty" before I took it. I asked if they would please double check with the doctor. I called back (1 hr later) to find out the answer. As the receptionist had explained earlier, the doctor said "no." I stated "this is important." The response given was "THERE ARE OTHER DOCTORS!" (rudely)It was difficult enough trying to find a vet that could treat exotic animals, let alone trying to schedule an appointment! It is obvious that they are NOT concerned with the welfare of every pet."Compassionate care for your fur family"Straight from their webpageOBVIOUSLY that quote is questionable, if not just FALSE.Do not depend on them to do the right thing for your pet!Edit after response from owner:I am unsure why you are surprised at my review. You refused to let me reschedule, you refused to help my petI communicated with your staff over the phone 3 times, received an email and a voicemail before I made the appointment. I also explained the reason for the appointment, stating it didn't seem emergent, but I didn't want to let it go on for too long. Had I been informed about the 2-3 week wait, I wouldn't have tried to make an appointment in the first place.Yes, my canceling was short notice. I would think that if your day was so busy you wouldn't be concerned with trying to "fit in someone else." When I spoke with staff on Monday, they OFFERED the Tuesday appointment. I was not informed that this was an inconvenience for you, that you had to "jump through hoops" to get me in.My reason for canceling (my schooling) is none of your business. But, I had a pop test that was given to my class to assist with taking the state board exam.I was planning on traveling an hour on public transportation to get to you. How does that translate into me not caring, just the opposite.I stand by the fact that I do not consider you compassionate. You did not do the right thing for my pet.You wanted a better review, you should have allowed me to reschedule.
