Petco Reviews
First day no one was around had to go ask someone to call for help in aquatics. Went home and all my fish died. Second day I got a very rude staff member who didn’t want to stop what she was doing so she called someone else to help me. I have a New planted tank that’s been set for weeks with no water issues, the second at the counter before I left I showed the cashier they looked lethargic but I didn’t want to go back to said rude staff member and again they all died this morning won’t be returning to this store. All my other fish and snails are fine.
Mar 24, 2025 · kellyann SThe store is in a nice and convenient location in Brooklyn but it’s an awful place to shop.Good luck trying to get someone to help you with anything. I asked the young gentleman who was working on the 2nd floor to assist with purchasing salt water fish and he simply walked away. I kid you not! He was walking around the store with both ear pods plugged into his ears. He takes one of his earbuds to hear what I was saying then puts it back on his ear and doesn’t even say a word. Just walked away. (See picture of him walking away)Unbelievable! No care in the world….How is he, as an employee, be allowed to walk around the store with headphones plugged in both of his ears??!!Employees should be there to help customers not walk around the store with earbuds and completely ignore customers. Some areas in the store were a complete mess! (See pictures)It’s a shame to see careless employees and complete lack of customer service and support.
Jul 07, 2024 · M KWhy do I insist on going to Petco stores vs online? I placed an order online 4/23 and received an email the order was ready for in store pickup. I arrived 2 hours later and the sales associate Christian could not find the order. I waited 15 mins and the line was getting long so he suggested I go upstairs and find a manager because he called and she was “busy” ABSOLUTELY NOT! cancel the order and I went to Petsmart.
Apr 24, 2025 · V Moore EdwardsIn this Petco, I don’t know the name of the cashier, but he speaks Spanish, not very loudly, and he works at the register most days. His treatment towards me was disgusting; he served me reluctantly and handed me the products in a bad mood. He doesn’t know how to treat customers well; he chooses who to treat nicely and who to treat poorly. They should consider their employees and their regular customers. Being treated like that means I won’t return because of this employee. They need to increase the staff at the registers, as having only one who serves poorly makes it uninviting to go there 🙄.
Feb 21, 2025 · ChristineMy fiancé and I love to go to this location because Carlos gives us the best advice for our fish tanks. He’s helped us purchase three tanks so far and always goes the extra mile when it comes to selecting our fishy inhabitants! Overall the staff here is always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
