I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Erich, the manager. When attempting to discuss a business transaction with him, I was met with an unprofessional and rude attitude. He made it clear that his priority lies with his larger clients and seemed to belittle smaller businesses like mine. Erich blatantly told me that the bigger stores purchasing coral from him were the ones controlling my ability to grow, implying that my business didn’t matter unless I could order $500 - $2,000 a month possibly stepping into the refusal to trade laws. He even went as far as to suggest that I take my business elsewhere if I couldn’t meet this threshold. My company isn’t solely based on the sales of corals but more so maintenance and I order packs monthly sometimes multiple times for client stock. As a small business owner, I was shocked by how little respect he showed for someone trying to establish themselves in the industry and would not give me anyone higher to speak to. His refusal to do business was based SOLELY on keeping his larger clients happy, showing he has no interest in supporting smaller businesses. It’s discouraging to encounter such dismissive behavior in a professional setting, and I would not recommend working with Erich or Route 66 if you’re a small company looking to grow. As they had NO INTERESTS AT ALL in supporting a growing company but more big industry. I have tried to order multiple times from them only to see my account was not working because I did not meet the $500-$2000 a month threshold and by the time it was up again and I went to make another order it was removed again. - Mike Bassamore
