Animal Care Center Reviews
I wish I could give a higher rating! My sweet Aussie girl (Maggie) suffered some deep lacerations and was taken care of immediately. Dr. Adam Ryan is a Saint! Him and his staff took wonderful care of her and made her feel as comfortable as possible. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the facility was very clean. We live an hour and a half from here and I would do this drive over and over even for a 5 minute shot appointment. Thank you for taking such great care of her! You’re greatly appreciated.
Mar 18, 2025 · Alexandra SAfter moving from Texas to Danville, I was worried about finding a vet for my 3 seniors. No need to worry, because ACC has been wonderful. When we had to make tough decisions for our 15 year old cat, Dr Michaela was so kind and understanding. We can’t thank her enough. Just saw Dr Rachel yesterday and she was so sweet. We have had a really lovely experience and are happy to have ACC help us navigate the later years for our beloved “kids”. I also like they are very practical and while certainly not inexpensive, I never feel like I’m paying for unnecessary things. Thank you ACC.. you have been a blessing to us!
May 28, 2025 · Brenda LeMaireWe love this place. We had to put 1 of our babies to sleep and they were very caring. The Dr looked like she was having a hard time with it. We will be going back if we need to.
Feb 07, 2025 · Travis BeachelIf you're looking for a compassionate, attentive vet clinic that treats your pet with care and respect—*this is not the place*. From the moment we walked in, we were met with cold indifference rather than the warmth and empathy one would expect from professionals who claim to care about animals. Our dog had several concerning symptoms: red, balding spots, scabs, and dry patches. Not only did the vet tech fail to greet her, she didn’t so much as glance in her direction. She didn’t help weigh her, didn’t acknowledge our dog’s clear discomfort, and barely acknowledged us. We provided our dog’s medical history, yet the tech gave no indication that she heard or understood a word we said. It was as if we were speaking into a void. When I offered to look up the brand of prescription food our dog was on, she snapped back with, *“Are you transferring care to us?”* I explained we were only in town for a few days and needed temporary care. Her response? *“Don’t bother.”* I still have no idea what transferring care had to do with identifying a brand of dog food, but the attitude was enough to make it clear we were unwelcome. Then came the vet, Dr. Adam Ryan. I use the term “vet” loosely here because I’ve seen more medical insight from a Google search. He gave our dog a cursory glance—maybe 30 seconds at most—then literally shrugged and said he didn’t know what was wrong. He said he wouldn’t bother doing any lab work because “these things just happen” and there was “nothing he could do.” He then stood there silently, staring at us as though we were the inconvenience. I had to pull basic information out of him like *I* was the one responsible for diagnosing our dog. It was both infuriating and heartbreaking. They refused to help us. Not even the bare minimum was offered. No treatment plan, no suggestions, no care. Just apathy.Do yourself—and your pet—a favor and avoid this clinic at all costs. This wasn’t just a disappointing visit; it was a disgraceful one.
Apr 21, 2025 · Stephanie TeoIf they aren’t able to exploit you for lots of money they won’t treat your pet for what you brought them in for. When I declined many “ extras” and explained that I just wanted my cat’s ear infection addressed at the visit , Dr. Graham never came back into the room to tell me what the labs showed and how to treat the infection. A tech handed me an over the counter ear wash and I had to pry it out of him what the labs showed ( bacterial infection)I lost $150 and still have a cat with an ear infection. I have filed a case with the Better Business Bureau and also a complaint with the State. This place is a SCAM .
