When a pet is suffering from a persistent skin or ear condition, a general vet may not have the expertise to provide a lasting solution. In these cases, a specialized clinic like the Animal Dermatology Clinic is a valuable resource for Texans. The primary benefit of choosing this clinic is its **specialized knowledge and advanced capabilities**. Their focused expertise in animal dermatology means they are more likely to accurately diagnose and effectively treat complex conditions that a general practice might struggle with. The availability of advanced diagnostics like video otoscopy and treatments like Co2 laser surgery and hyperbaric oxygen therapy positions them at the forefront of this field. This is a crucial factor for pet owners who have exhausted other options and are seeking a definitive solution for their pet's chronic discomfort.
However, it is equally important for potential clients to consider the mixed experiences reported in customer reviews. While the clinic’s medical expertise may be high, the provided reviews highlight serious concerns about **customer service and continuity of care**. One reviewer felt that seeing a different vet tech for each appointment was a "cash grab" and that the service was rushed and unsupportive, ultimately leading to them walking out. Another review details a frustrating experience with a forgotten appointment, a lost deposit, and a highly "unprofessional attitude" from the staff. This suggests a potential disconnect between the clinic's high level of medical service and its client management. While a specialist may be needed for your pet's health, it is essential to be prepared for the possibility of a less-than-ideal administrative or customer service experience. For Texas pet owners, the decision to choose this clinic comes down to weighing the promise of specialized, advanced medical care against the reported risks of poor customer support.

Animal Dermatology Clinic Reviews
It’s been about six months now that I took my dog to this location. We saw Dr. Daegle once and the remaining appointments have been with different vet techs. I wish I had known that I would not see the actual vet again. I don’t feel supported by her and feel like it’s just a cash grab. I feel like the last vet tech Amanda rushed my visit, talked at me and then proceeded to just leave me & my dog in a room. I ended up just walking out myself. The customer service really needs to improve at this location. I no longer feel comfortable spending my money or time here. I called the other location and shared my experience and the receptionist literally said I’m sorry that seems to be a recurring theme there. Huge red flag. Do better.
July 26 · Lauren F.Stay away from this place. It took forever to get an appointment, I finally had an appointment scheduled and gave them my $100 deposit. I arrive 15 minutes early and they have no record of my appointment. They forgot to enter it. So, I took three hours off work, drove 34 miles round trip and they tell me, we might be able to squeeze you in later today. What am I supposed to do for hours? Sheer incompetence and an unprofessional attitude, like somehow it was my fault they forgot to enter my appointment.
August 20 · Martin RidgewayThis is an awesome place. So happy this gem is not too far (1 hour) from my home. My dog had an area in his mouth that caused him to scratch constantly. It was treated by my local vet, but kept coming back. My vet referred me to Animal Dermatology Clinic. The vet at Animal Dermatology was able to figure it out and now he’s back to normal and no more,”cone of shame.”
January 08 · Kimberly EdgarI had been dealing with our cat’s ear infection for almost two years, and no other vet could figure out what was causing it. At this clinic, the problem was identified in just five minutes, and they offered an effective treatment right away. The staff was very polite and professional. Overall, a very great experience
June 25 · Aλεξάνδρα / Alexandra ΟWe started bringing our golden retriever puppy here after our vet referred us. Amanda has literally changed our dog’s life and in turn, ours. She has guided us in determining his allergens, created treatment plans, met our concerns with compassion and care, and genuinely cared about our animal every step of the way. It took time and patience, but we stayed the course and followed her instructions and it has paid off. His quality of life today is far better than we imagined it would ever be and we are grateful!
