Animal Diagnostic Clinic Introduce
For pet owners in Dallas and the broader Texas region, finding a veterinary clinic that can handle complex and serious medical conditions is a critical need. Our beloved pets, just like us, sometimes require a level of care that goes beyond a standard check-up. Animal Diagnostic Clinic in Dallas fills this vital role, specializing in advanced diagnostics, internal medicine, oncology, and emergency services. This clinic is not a replacement for your regular veterinarian; rather, it is a trusted partner and a referral center for complex cases, working in close collaboration with primary care vets to provide the best possible outcome for your pet.
The core mission of the Animal Diagnostic Clinic is to offer the highest quality diagnostic and therapeutic care for pets. They understand that a serious diagnosis can be incredibly stressful for pet owners, and they strive to make the process as clear and manageable as possible. Their team of highly trained specialists and technicians uses cutting-edge technology to accurately diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses, from chronic conditions to life-threatening diseases. By focusing on detailed diagnostics, they can create a targeted and effective treatment plan, giving pet owners hope and their animals a chance at a healthier life. This commitment to expertise and collaboration makes them a key component of the Dallas veterinary community, dedicated to providing a higher level of care for the pets who need it most.
The location of a specialty clinic is particularly important, as pet owners often travel from a wide area to seek their services. Animal Diagnostic Clinic is conveniently located at 4444 Trinity Mills Rd #202, Dallas, TX 75287, USA. This central position makes it accessible for residents throughout Dallas and the surrounding communities, including those who are referred from outside the immediate area. The clinic's accessibility helps to reduce the stress of travel, which is a major benefit for pets who may already be in a delicate state.
The clinic has also made efforts to ensure that its facility is accessible to all clients. A wheelchair accessible parking lot is available, which provides a convenient and safe option for individuals with mobility challenges. Additionally, a restroom is available on-site for the convenience of clients. While not all accessibility features are listed, the presence of a wheelchair-friendly parking lot demonstrates a commitment to serving the needs of a diverse client base.

For a pet owner in Texas facing a serious or mysterious health issue with their animal, the choice of a veterinary specialist is a decision of immense consequence. The reviews provided, while mixed, offer a clear picture of what makes Animal Diagnostic Clinic a valuable resource. The glowing review of Dr. Custis demonstrates the compassionate and expert care that is crucial during a difficult time. The pet owner's comment that the doctor was "awesome at helping us navigate through" cancer highlights a key benefit of a specialty clinic—not just medical treatment, but guidance and support through a challenging journey. The focus on transparent communication and the time taken to answer questions show a commitment to a patient-centered approach.
However, the second review brings up an important point about the clinic's administrative processes, particularly for non-critical cases. This feedback underscores the fact that as a specialty referral center, their primary focus is on managing complex, critical cases that come from other vets, which can sometimes lead to a less accessible scheduling experience for certain types of appointments. This is an important distinction for pet owners to understand: this clinic is designed for advanced, often life-saving, care and works on a referral basis. If your pet has a serious or chronic condition that your primary vet cannot resolve, the specialized expertise, advanced diagnostic tools, and compassionate doctors at Animal Diagnostic Clinic make it a top-tier choice for a potentially life-changing referral. The quality of the care provided, especially for critical and complicated cases, is what makes it a crucial part of the Dallas veterinary landscape.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr Custis (and staff) were all great. He explains everything very thoroughly and is kind and compassionate but also straightforward and honest. He takes his time to sit and talk through things and lets you ask questions. Cancer sucks but he was awesome at helping us navigate through. 10/10 would recommend
March 19 · Taylor Deushane DeushaneI was put on hold, then told the scheduler had already left and to call back the next day. After my vet sent a referral, the coordinator insisted I’m “outpatient” and “non-critical” and that only my vet could call to schedule the ultrasound. She said she’d contact my vet and follow up with me, but neither of us received a call. From my experience, it feels like they don’t actually want to help patients or make scheduling accessible. This has been extremely disappointing, especially when trying to get timely care for my pet. My vet is sending another referral; we’ll see how the clinic responds......
August 16 · Mina ChoeDr. Dawson, Dr. Custis, Dr. Wright, and really the entire staff were incredible. They gave our dog Otis three long, happy years that we didn't think we'd get when we first got the cancer diagnosis. They were always so loving, so kind, so compassionate, so patient. They treated Otis like royalty. Every time he walked in it was clear that they were really happy to see him (and sad to see him go every time he left). We can't thank or recommend them enough.
May 21 · Mike HowardWhat a beautiful gift God has given the veterinarian's and staff at VCA. We were referred to them after finding out our dog had a tumor in his throat that was obstructing his breathing. Dr. Donnelly is absolutely amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable, relatable, and most importantly she was clear and straight to the point about what our next steps were. She swooped in to help and was the comfort we needed in such an unsure time. She got him scheduled for surgery almost immediately. And ultimately saved his life and gave us more time that we were really needing with him. We can't thank her and the staff enough. Highly highly recommend.
June 25 · Jessica McKeeSending BIG 5 STARS from Miss Stella & I to Dr. Custis, Maddie, Chris, and all the staff that took such great care of her. We made the commute from Oklahoma every other day for the past couple weeks so she could receive radiation treatments. We couldn't have asked for a better group of people during these times. Thank you so much!
