Animal Friends of the Valleys Spay & Neuter Clinic Introduce
For Southern California residents committed to responsible pet ownership and community animal welfare, **Animal Friends of the Valleys Spay & Neuter Clinic** in Wildomar is a vital resource. Operating as a non-profit **Veterinary care** facility, their primary mission is not only to provide essential medical services but also to actively promote humane animal care, prevent suffering, and dramatically reduce pet overpopulation in the cities they serve, which include Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, Menifee, Murrieta, and Temecula, in addition to Wildomar itself.
This organization is more than just an **Animal Clinic**; it is a dedicated community service provider. Their focus is heavily weighted toward high-volume, **low-cost spay/neuter services** and a comprehensive **Vaccine Clinic**. This emphasis on preventative measures and accessible care is critical in the Inland Empire region, directly impacting the number of homeless and stray animals requiring intervention. By making these foundational services affordable and available, they empower local pet owners to be part of the solution to the overpopulation crisis.
While the clinical focus is on sterilization and vaccination, the organization supports the full circle of animal welfare. They offer programs for **Pet Adoption**—including dedicated services for both **Dog Adoptions** and **Cat Adoptions**—working to find loving, permanent homes for the animals in their care. They also provide crucial public services like **Animal Control** under contract with surrounding cities, ensuring the safety and well-being of the entire community's animal population.
Customer feedback often highlights the dedication and caring nature of the staff. Clients who bring their "fur babies" in, such as for a cat neuter, consistently comment on the high quality of service and the genuine concern shown by the team. However, as with any high-volume clinic, communication processes are essential. One customer review noted a human error in vaccine administration—giving the wrong shot without clear communication—but the staff was reportedly apologetic and quickly corrected the mistake. This underscores the need for clients to remain vigilant and for the clinic to maintain strict verification protocols, especially in busy community health settings. Overall, the staff at the front desk are repeatedly described as "very welcoming and very sweet."
Animal Friends of the Valleys plays a larger role in the Wildomar community by offering programs that go beyond basic medical care, including **Humane Euthanasia** services when necessary, and distributing resources like **Cat Food** and **Puppy Food**. Their commitment to the community is evidenced by their efforts to secure grants and donations to offer **Financial Assistance** for medical procedures to qualified low-income and senior families within their service area.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- I was very hesitant to write this review as the ladies at the front desk were amazing, they were very welcoming and very sweet. I give them 5 starsI took my dog to Animal Friends of the Valley Vaccination Clinic for a rabies shot. When she called a number, I told them I had lost mine but gave them my dog’s name, which she confirmed. She then gave my dog a vaccine and handed me the paperwork. I assumed everything was fine. When I got home and reviewed the paperwork, I realized it wasn’t the rabies shot she had received. I called the clinic, and the person on the phone claimed the tech said she had explained what shot was being given — but she definitely did not. She only called the number and confirmed my dog’s name.I went back to get the correct shot, and the tech said sorry and that it was human error. While I appreciate the apology, it’s concerning that a wrong vaccine was given without any clear communication. She had the paper in hand, clearly a different bread of dog, she should have looked at the paper work in hand when i confirmed the name. This could’ve had serious consequences. I hope they improve their verification and communication processes to prevent this from happening to anyone else. July 11 · sheri koch
- I brought my cat here to be neutered. Service is very good. The staff are very caring on your fur babies. May 14 · Jason Marc
- This visit was a first time with my sisters 8 mo old rescue kitty boy. We were impressed with this clinic and how they handled the many, many pets and pet owners through the registration process and care they gave for the neuter procedure and after care paperwork. I would recommend this facility. February 18 · Roxanne Avery
- This shelter is staffed with compassion. The experience is positive. Please adopt from here. These gorgeous creatures will love you August 21 · TV Pickers
- Nasty place. Everywhere stinks! No way is that place sanitized regularly or they don't have clue how to do it correctly. USDA should be notified. Not cheap on vacs clinic either. And staff lies and doesn't keep business hours even if you confirm it less than an hour before.Stay away from this place unless you can go in at 10 am and waste your whole afternoon waiting and maybe even then not getting your animal seen. This operation needs to get their chit together or turn it over to someone that can run it like it should be run.
