Angel Care Pet Hospital Introduce
For pet owners across the Southern California region, finding a veterinary partner who combines advanced medical skill with profound, heartfelt compassion is a top priority. Angel Care Pet Hospital, located in Murrieta, CA, is a premier animal hospital that consistently meets this high standard. Operating with a Christian-owned philosophy, the facility's team, led by the highly regarded Dr. V, is committed to upholding principles of competence, honesty, integrity, and fairness, ensuring every pet and client receives the excellent service they deserve.
Angel Care Pet Hospital is dedicated to the health of Dog & Cat patients, providing a wide array of services that extend far beyond routine checkups. The hospital has established a strong reputation for handling both general wellness and complex, life-threatening emergency situations. The testimonials from real customers highlight the extraordinary lengths the veterinary team will go to save a beloved pet’s life, demonstrating an "above and beyond" service mentality. This dedication is perhaps best exemplified by the care provided during critical times, such as when one family's dog, Leonidas, was fighting for his life, receiving blood transfusions, testing, and dedicated medication management from the crew. Even in the face of loss, the owners were grateful, stating the clinic "did absolutely everything" and giving them the precious chance to say goodbye.
A key takeaway from the experiences of clients is the deep-seated care provided by the medical team. Dr. V, in particular, has been celebrated by clients for his expertise and life-saving interventions, managing to save one large mastiff from a deadly, rapidly growing infection called pyometra—a severe infection of the uterus requiring immediate, life-saving surgery. This highlights the hospital’s capacity for advanced surgical and emergency medicine, an invaluable resource for California pet parents facing urgent health crises. The hospital’s philosophy is clear: they care about your pet like "Angel's Care."
The hospital is also a professional facility that understands the significant financial commitment of being a responsible pet owner. While they operate with the immense overhead necessary for a high-quality veterinary hospital, they encourage clients to be prepared. One client, a responsible business owner, strongly advocates for pet insurance (citing providers like Trupanion, Pets Best, Lemonade, Spot, and ASPCA) to cover major costs, noting that with insurance, even a $32,000 treatment cost was reduced to a fraction of the price out-of-pocket, demonstrating that quality care at a professional facility is financially manageable for responsible pet owners with proper planning. The availability of resources like CareCredit is also a key feature, assisting clients in financing unexpected and expensive emergency procedures quickly.
Angel Care Pet Hospital is located in the vibrant community of Murrieta, California, easily reachable for residents throughout Riverside County and the surrounding areas. The exact location is: 33050 Antelope Rd #211, Murrieta, CA 92563, USA. The facility’s physical location is designed to be welcoming and accessible to all clients.
In terms of Accessibility, the hospital is fully equipped to accommodate all visitors. The premises feature a Wheelchair accessible entrance and a Wheelchair accessible parking lot. This dedication to accessibility ensures that every pet owner, regardless of mobility needs, can comfortably bring their dogs and cats in for essential medical care.
For scheduling, the hospital advises that Appointments are recommended. While the team is highly dedicated and has demonstrated a willingness to handle emergency cases, securing an appointment ensures that your pet can be seen in a timely manner. New clients, in particular, may experience a reasonable wait for a first visit—one new client waited nearly three weeks for a non-serious initial visit—underscoring the hospital’s popularity and the need to schedule preventative care well in advance. However, in emergency situations, their quick action and life-saving expertise, such as diagnosing and treating a critical pyometra case in the middle of the night, demonstrate their commitment to urgent patient needs.
The facility also includes general Amenities to enhance the client experience, which, combined with the professional and caring staff, ensures a comfortable and low-stress visit for both pets and their owners.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1After all what Dr. V did to save our boy for the past week, Leonidas has passed away. Im leaving a positive review for the Clinic because they did absolutely everything, they heard everything we said, above and beyond service from the crew. From blood transfusions, testing, medication. They care. Leo wouldn't have made it as long as he did giving us the chance to say goodbye or watch him heal, I'm blessed, grateful and heartbroken. Leo has fought very hard, he's now at peace with his uncle and siblings 🥹❤️ thank you Dr. V and crew at Angel Care
June 29 · Gavin DelbridgeI was new to the area and having a hard time finding a vet that would see my giant mastiff Katana within a reasonable amount of time. For my first visit I did have to wait nearly 3 weeks to be seen but it wasn’t for anything serious so I didn’t mind. Most of the negative reviews I read on hear clearly come from people who can’t afford to be pet parents my opinion, if you dont get pet insurance for your animal you have no right to complain about prices. As a business owner myself I understand the way they charge. A Vet hospital, like every business, has huge overhead. I think Ive probably spent more than most of the complaining customers on here, $13,000+ at this vet and $32,000 at The Veterinary Cancer Group in tustin but I have pet insurance and those charges get reimbursed to me within a few weeks or months. So Dont complain about prices, get pet insurance, it pays for itself 10x over and it’s what responsible pet owners do! If you can’t afford it, you can’t afford to own a pet. Trupanion, Pets Best, Lemonade, Spot, ASPCA they all are kinda the same. For a middle aged German Shepard expect to pay $100-200 a month, for an adult cat expect to pay $600-700 a year. Most have a small yearly deductible and give you options for 60%-90% reimbursement plans. My 2 cats lymphoma treatment was around $32,000 in total at VCG in Tustin and it only cost me $3000 out of my own pocket and the price of their insurance premium. Yes you have to pay upfront for the whole amount but u get reimbursed after you submit the claim within weeks. That being said, i took my 9yr old mastiff in to have lumps checked out, Dr V said she needed to be put under to have them removed and do biopsy. They did surgery to remove them, and 1 came back as cancer, but Dr. V said the margins were good and he had gotten all of it! She wouldn’t need chemo. 4 days later she got to her wound and tore out the stitches, and had to take her at 3 am to emergency vet to be restitched. We went back for our original 2 week post surgery visit to have stiches removed and I said she wasn’t acting normal. She was lethargic and wouldn’t eat. I asked for an ultrasound to make sure there wasn’t something we were missing going on inside of her and he said let’s do an X-ray and blood work because it’s cheaper. I said ok. He said nothing was showing up on X-ray but blood work showed really high white blood cell count. At this point my dog nearly able to stand on her own. He said she needed to be admitted and start antibiotics immediately, he asked if she was spayed and I said no, I only had her for a year and at her age I didn’t want to put her through it. He suspected she may have pyometra which is a rapidly growing and deadly infection caused by cysts that rupture in the uterus and older dogs can get it if you dont spay them. He said let’s do a ultrasound first before we jump into emergency spay surgery and he called me and said yes he could see puss was forming in the uterus and every minute counted. I had to come up with $8484 quickly for surgery. I was having second thoughts about doing it because Spays are not covered and neither is breeding under most insurance plans so that was most likely going to be all on me. Thank you care credit for approving my credit limit increase so quickly! She was taken in for surgery and spent almost a week in the hospital fighting for her life but Dr. V saved my girl! And then the best news ever, her insurance covered the surgery because it was considered a life threatening emergency. She’s back to being my goofy 165lbs gentle giant. Thank you Dr. V and staff for taking such good care of my girl and for saving her life! - Tara & Jason Annette
May 23 · Deck the HouseTook my dog here for all her vaccinations and I thought they were great.Until my dog got flea bites and i had to scheduled a consultation (which I had to wait 2 weeks for the earliest appointment). I got there FIVE minutes late due to my freeway exit being closed and they tried charging me a 25$ late fee.So ridiculous that they have less of a “grace period” than high schools. Or are less understanding that things come up that are out of peoples control. The receptionists (except maybe 2) are so rude and stuck up.I’ll be looking for a new vet.
May 01 · Brea SandovalWe have had a few experiences here and the staff have always been so kind and caring. Considerate and they go above and beyond. The prices are a bit less than other places on some services and they offer low cost vaccine clinics. They were great when we had to put our Buddy down a few weeks ago. They sent us a card with his paw print and then they saved a lock of his hair. Very thoughtful and considerate.
December 23 · KeriMy opening comment... THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!Angel Care Pet Hospital was reccomended to us by a dear friend.I took my 5 month old Shitzu there for a rabbies shot on a walk in basis, I did not make an appointment. The staff were very friendly and the place smelled fresh and looked amazingly clean . From filling out the new client form to having my dogs shot, the completion from start to finish was no longer than 15 maybe 20 minutes tops, not too bad at all for a walk in.The most amazing part is when it was time to pay... I walked out with total bill of $14.00, yes, fourteen dollars. My previous Vet charges $70.00 each office visit, not including the costs of the actual service needed.I will highly reccomend Angel Care Pet Hospital to my family and friends, that's why I'm so glad my friend told me about Angel Care, they have a new client forever!Keep up the good work Angel Care Pet Hospital Staff!!
