★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- We’ve been taking our sweet Juneau baby to Dr. Coles and the entire team at Animal Hospital of Lawrence since we moved back to the community 2.5 years ago, and we have been so impressed with them. They are always so kind to us and to our pup, attentive to our concerns, and have always prioritized seeing us - even when we don’t have a scheduled appointment - when we have thought something was wrong/not normal. We’re extremely thankful for their care of our Juneau and how wonderful everyone at this clinic is. August 08 · Haley Hannaman
- I took my pet to the Animal Hospital of Lawrence for her first wellness exam after adoption. (Which was a free exam). The vet barely looked at her. I was told they are supposed to check their gums, their teeth, their fur, check for fleas/ticks, & listen to their lungs & heart. All he did was look at her gums and teeth.Since I had never had a cat for a pet before, I had a lot of questions and he rushed me out the door while I was trying to get answers… I was told that he was also supposed to discuss preventative care and possibly do blood work (We both had a suspicion that the cat might have been sick) but he didn’t do anything.I’ve recently been back again when my cat was sick and throwing up blood for the 2nd time in less than a week and they did nothing but give her an anti nausea shot and send us home with 2 little cans of food. Food I had to pay for! They didn’t want to do blood work because of the cost, but I told them I was willing to pay it and they still just kind of rushed me out the door.I went here because they were close by my house, but I don’t recommend them. They don’t know what hospitality is. June 05 · Brooke (Brookelynn)
- I began taking my pet lizard and new puppy to this facility. The first time I went, I paid the initial exam fee and was told my lizard needed to come back every two weeks for medication. The first time we went for medication, it was $15. The second time we went, they tried to charge me 60$, for an "exam" and the medication. However, when I voiced the discrepancy from the price change they did remove the exam charge. The following week, I took my puppy back for 3rd round of shots. Yet again, instead of charging me for the shots that I came for she charged me 72$ for the shots and another exam fee, even though the puppy had just been examined three weeks prior. This that is the most inconsistent in their fees, and I feel like tries to upcharge you every time you come. I will not be taking either one of my pets back to this facility. - Started here when my cat received ridiculous quotes for dental work, these folks have been the most reasonably priced, caring, and helpful vets that I’ve ever had! Bummed to be moving out of town and not be able to take my boys here anymore July 11 · Regan Virnoche
- Dr. Heeb has been absolutely amazing helping our cat Red the last month..She is very kind, knowledgeable, and extremely compassionate. We unfortunately had to have red put to sleep this morning, but I was very glad Dr. Heeb performed this task. She's awesome and so is the entire staff! January 23 · Jeff Carmody Jr
