★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve taken my dogs to a lot of different specialists and vets over the years and AVIM was one of the best. Sadly, our dog was diagnosed with stage III cancer, but they were able to get us in fairly quickly to see Dr. Rusk in oncology. Everyone was friendly and Dr. Rusk was very honest with us about our dog’s prognosis and compassionate. The vet staff were also friendly and patient even when my girl got scared of the x-rays.
May 22 · Jamie FisherThis was our first visit. Everyone was very welcoming and nice. Dr. Frank and the techs were great with our sheltie. Discussed her issues and plan of action. Be back for follow up. Thinking we’re finally on the track to figuring out the causes. We were customers in 2019-2020 with our older sheltie for kidney issues. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her treatment through the months; especially, through COVID times.
March 19 · Debbie McConnellAmazing experience. My cat's comfort was first priority. They had a house for her to hide in and allowed her to explore the room Dr. Frank was very thorough. She did not rush and I am.cery happy with the plan we are undertaking. Worth the drive. 100% recommend this practice and Dr. Frank.
March 19 · Carol RobyAVIM Internal medicine & Oncology was wonderful with our pup who got a rare cancer. Dr. Klein was amazing and the whole team! They took great care and helped heal our best boy.
March 07 · Jessica chambersHighly recommend Dr. Rusk. We paid $300 for a consult to discuss options after my dog had a cancerous tumor removed from his anal gland. Due to the location of the tumor, cancerous cells were left behind. I was super anxious and had no idea what this meant for my pup, Teddy. Dr. Rusk took a full hour to examine teddy, go over his records and provide us all the options. He was very personable, used simple terms for us to be able to understand, answered any questions I had and was very honest about the options. The consult was 100% worth it. He’s very kind, empathetic and the right guy for his job. My friend also takes her dog to him and they had a great experience as well. I am very thankful for Dr. Rusk and will continue to use him for any further questions/proceeding of options.
