Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
Terrible experience. I took my cat there she had scratches under her chin. They could not examine her. They couldn’t put collar on her. Can not put tick medicine. The excuse is she doesn’t let them. So for your kind information that’s why I was there. They charge me exams fees and a fortune for treatment. Which never happened. I address that issue, Without collar she will keep scratching. The answer is we can’t do it. But we will still charge you
Feb 20, 2025 · Basit RashidIt's needless to say how stressful and terrifying it is to have a sick animal... And the best place to go to get all of that relief I would say is Banfield pet hospital they are top-notch in the services they provide and I'm deeply grateful to be a member or a customer of the service thank you so much for the services you provide and very well, and that's from the receptionist all the way to the doctor. My pet is happy and so am I
Mar 12, 2025 · d bookerWorse place ever. They don’t care about your babies. All they care about is selling their products and their insurance. We were there and waited almost 2 hours to be seen by the dr and again the dr Borrison recommended their plans. I tried to get the prescription instead of getting the medication from them. She gave me a word document that didn’t have all what she recommended . I called later to get an official prescription since the same medication was much cheaper outside. They asked me to wait 3 days for the same dr to come back or to come and pay for separate visit to get the dog seen again. What about pet records!!! So if that dr leaves the place, I will not be able to get my puppies meds unless I get another visit with another 2 hour wait and paying money again??? Frustrating really and unfair to me and my baby!
Apr 13, 2025 · NoonADo not use any Banfield, this one especially. This place will kill your pet and charge you hundreds (if not over a thousand, like i was) for the privilege. They mishandled my cat's diabetes so badly that she died in less than a month after prescribing us a non-insulin treatment. We brought her back several more times asking if she was ok: she lost so much weight and wouldn't eat. They refused to treat her and sent us home. TWICE. I am so heartbroken and angry. And then to add insult to injury, they will not let you cancel the "wellness plan" for your not dead animal. They wouldn't even let us cancel the plan for our other, still living pets. We're still being forced to pay, months later. PLEASE don't entrust this business with the lives of your pets. They don't care.
Feb 15, 2025 · JeanDoes anyone know if your pet dies, Banfield will continue charging you for a wellness plan till it is up. So if it just renews and your pet passes away, you have over $550 to still pay over the course of the next year. Every month they remind you your pet is dead as they take $54.95 from you. If this isn't garbage, what is?My dog slips on the floor walking in to Petsmart as it's always slick, and at 14, he is very unsteady these days. Would Banfield be kind enough to give a three day prescription of Galliprant so my dog can walk into his appointment?? Absolutely not! You would think a giant corporation that specializes in taking advantage of people's emotions with their elderly pets would care enough, but nah. It's a free check up. So why would they care. My dog is on his last leg, literally. This is how they treat your old pet. But definitely raise the price of the monthly fee since your dog is older. How about a carpet path leading to Banfield. I have Cintas' number, they can lay rugs down to help pets not slide walking through petsmart. probably too expensive considering the corporate greed is overwhelming. At least the lady who answered said I could bring my dog in a wheelbarrow to his appointment, that's the quality of service Banfield provides. Three days of medicine is a no go, but bring my elderly dog in a god dam wheelbarrow is acceptable. What a sham place. Top to bottom.
