★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My dog has been a patient for 14 years. I took her in January where she had blood work. She had not been eating and was having accidents. They did the bloodwork and gave me appetite pills. After suffering for 2 months, I took her back and they looked back at her values from January and they were "off the charts" . They suggested I euthanize her which I did. They recommended I email to remove my dog from the wellness plan which I did with no response. I called a few days later and spoke to someone who was impossible to understand, and she told me I owe 81.00. Why I asked?, Well cannot understand the answer because she was speaking swahili or something, then when I got the survey call a few minutes later, it would not take my response, it would only let me enter 1 which was a positive response. Yall, I know this is long, but basically I am just saying, dont waste your time or money. The Dr. I had on Monday was fantastic, I hope he finds a job at a better place.
March 12 · Jennifer CarpenterBanfield is not my primary vet, but on Saturday, my pittie managed to get an old piece of fence wiring lodged in her lower leg/upper paw. I called on super short notice (dogs never hurt themselves at a good time lol) and they fit me in at 4:30 on a Saturday! Saving me an emergency vet trip. They did an X-ray and managed to remove the wire, gave us pain meds and antibiotics. The vet was super helpful and everyone was so nice and took great care of my girl. Thank guys! Charm says thanks too, even if she’s a big nervous nelly!
June 08 · Jessica AndersonThe service my two toy poodles receive is absolutely wonderful care from Banfield Pet Hospital.I have been a loyal customer with Banfield for a long time and I certainly appreciate how they take care of my girls. April 24 · Ruth HarrisIf I could give 0 stars and had the money to sue I absolutely would. I came in with my 8 month old cat who hadn’t been eating for 2 days, throwing up, and having severe diarrhea. They did an Xray on her for $350 and then said I needed to pay another $150 for someone to review the Xray because they didn’t know??!!!. They also kept my cat for 5 hours and claimed she was aggressive.. They did nothing to help my baby and I fear they were abusing her as when I picked her up from the office her fur was all over her carrier and my cat does not shed. I took my cat today to another vet and they confirmed she has a blockage and needs immediate surgery. This place is completely incompetent and neglectful. The vet today said my cat is an angel so I can only imagine what the staff at Banfield was doing to my baby to make her react aggressively. DO NOT COME HERE!!!
December 05 · aubrey wardFirst, let me say the techs and front office staff is amazing. They are friendly, courteous, and try their best to be as helpful as they can be. I purchased the new puppy plan but there are many things that are not included with this plan. The medication is one example. I just get the written Rx and take it to my pharmacy. Saved me about 80% off what Banfield charges.Second, and more important to me is the fact that you never see or talk to the vet. This is strictly a drop off and pickup service. I met the vet on the first visit only because I refused to purchase a wellness plan without meeting the vet first. You will never build rapport with someone you never interact with. I have zero confidence that my dogs best interest is at heart here. Yesterday there was 1 vet on duty and 25 names on the board. There is no way 1 vet can connect with anyone given the Dr/patient ratio.I will finish my puppy plan and then switch to another vet where they can actually get to know my dog and interact with me. This isn't a bad place, it's just all about the $$ first, given their business model. The techs do their best but they aren't the Dr and therefore are not equipped to answer questions. Please note that this is not a review of the veterinarian because I know nothing about her skills.
