★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We have been going here for a few years. My dog is well accustomed to the grooming routine of this place and everybody there loves her. She is a ball of fur and so we go somewhat regularly. Sometimes as much as once a week during shedding season. Staff is awesome. Very accommodating. Always a good experience!
August 18 · L OWe switched from San Leandro Banfield to Dublin. We could never get our animals in. We had the wellness plan yet they would refer us to the Animal Hospital if we needed care. They were always closing early or for the day. Both Dublin locations are great. Staff and vets are great. You can get in same day or next day
June 04 · Janice CraigDO NOT GO HERE! They are the literal definition of animal cruelty. We had a drop off appointment for our cat at 10:15 am. We have been to other Banfield locations before and the max it takes them is half an hour to an hour. This location does not mention anywhere that they will be holding our pets for 4-6 hours. What kind of a ridiculous wait time is this??On top of this, we called and visited them multiple times making sure everything was okay. The receptionist lied to us and told us “she’s out in a cage with litter box and water “We asked if we should take her back and bring her when the doctor was ready but we were told that will only stress her out more.4 HOURS LATER, the nurse calls us and tells us they can’t do a check up on Yuki because she’s stressed out and hissing at them. I asked if she has been taken out and they said no, she’s been in her carrier for past 4 hours without access to any water or litter box or food. Why didn’t anybody call us in 4 hours to tell us they were having issues? We could have taken her back with us instead of letting her stay there for 4 hours. OF COURSE SHE IS STRESSED OUT! You keep a cat caged for 4 hours. What do you expect to happen? They do not care for your pets. They are money driven and have a flawed business model. Don’t go here.
April 13 · rr1995Most of the time, this has been a good pet hospital. Once in a while, the receptionists could be pretty rude and careless with bad attitude. They would let you keep waiting until you missed your assigned appointment while answering the phone. The grooming service in the same facility has been the same situation. It's really great if you know who to ask for. Otherwise, your pet might be returned with some unfinished jobs. You can only get that if you are careful and knowing what's supposed to be included.September 2019 updates:We’ve recently visited the Banfield hospital again. The receptionists have been very helpful, friendly and courteous. This is such an impressive improvement since our previous visits! Kudos to the personnel. We appreciated it greatly. However, I did notice the front door areas have been very filthy with trash and urine stains (dry and wet). It’s not kept clean in my recent visits. See the attached pictures. Hopefully they can clean up frequently.
September 21 · Pno EnsI took my dog there because it was not feeling well, and they just take a look at him and then gave me a prescription with probiotics and send us home. I asked for explinations and they told me I'm rude and they will not treat my dog ever again, no matter how sick it is.
