★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Story time, settle in!I had a really long, stressful day yesterday that was completely planned around getting my dog in for grooming yesterday at the PetSmart this vet is located inside of. It is an hour drive one way for me.My poor, heavily obese girl’s nails had gotten so long that they were touching her paw pads (but not cutting into them yet.) Because they were so long, the groomer felt it would be better if I took my old pup to the vet to get her nails clipped instead…but the last time I took her to our local vet, they had no qualms whatsoever about the bleeding from clipping her nails. Which is why I worked OT to be certain I had the funds, rearranged my whole day, got childcare so I could bring her in, and they were *too bad* to be done with the available tools.Luckily, the groomer thought about the vet next door and went and asked those amazing girls if they could come trim some of these nails so that the groomer could actually get to them. Those two girls came on over and helped trim those few too long nails and I was grateful for that in itself. So the groomer takes my pup to be groomed and tells me it will be 3-4 hours. Except 30 minutes later, I get a call from PetSmart about how my pup will not cooperate and they don’t have enough hands to make her do so. Her nails still cannot be done because my old girl will not stand up for the groomer. At this point it’s almost 6pm, I’d been up since 3:30AM to make my day happen and in all of my planning, I had forgotten to eat anything. I’ll be honest, this is about where my mental breakdown started.I asked the groomer if those girls might be willing to come help and she transferred the call over to them. I feel so bad that they had to listen to me, I could not pull myself together before they answered the phone and I was very clearly not okay, begging them if they’re willing to please go over and help them, I wouldn’t be able to make it back before they close at 6pm to walk her over myself and her nails were the entire reason we came. The vet girls told me that, just this once, in order to make sure my poor, old, fat, incredibly sweet pup gets quality care, they would head over to the groomers on their way out and help with her nails. And that was so incredibly amazing of them to do.The PetSmart groomers were great, they did a great job with my dog and I know now, in advance, when making her appointment, to mention that this pup specifically needs two people in order to get her nails trimmed. These Bansfield girls and the vet that approved them helping with my pup…I know that clipping some nails probably didn’t seem like much of a thing to them at all, but after the day that I’d had and the lack of food or sleep attached to that…it meant an immense mount to me that they were willing to help and take pity on me and my dog.And they didn’t even charge me for it. I tried to get them to leave a bill with the groomer for me, but they insisted I didn’t worry about it and leave a review instead. So, here I am!! Those girls saved my mental state for spiraling even further and I am so glad they were there for my girl!TLDR: the people here are absolutely amazing and will give your pet the best care they can. And they’re nice to the humans, too. 💕Pictured is my big fat girl who, yes, there is (and has been) an active effort in place to get her to lose weight. July 30 · Caitlyn Duncan
- I used to go to the broken arrow Banfield, but due to a scheduling conflict I found the Owasso site. It has been a great switch, and I've continued to take my dog over here. They are very kind with your pets, and inform you of everything they are doing, and whey they are doing it. My dog Maverick absolutely adores the people here, and he doesn't mind going to the vet. I just had his teeth cleaned here and they were very thorough with the cleaning as well as going over his charts. Would highly recommend this location above any of the other vets I've been to.Liz, Mya, and Kayla, and Dr. knott are all top notch . August 13 · Benjamin O'Donnell
- Both of my fur babies had a dental cleaning today. Procedure was explained to me by Dr Green and they received great care. Appreciate the wonderful care by Liz, Mya, Ava and Caitlin. June 19 · Barbara Bartlett
- We LOVE the current staff at Banfield Owasso!Caitlin, Kayla, Liz, and Dr. Knott always put Chili and Mei’s health and wellbeing first, and make sure they are as comfortable as they can be.They have made going to the vet with a reactive dog and a super anxious dog so simple. They make sure chili is separated from the other pups as well as helped me with information on behavioral trainers, and they make sure Mei is feeling super secure when they visit.Don’t get me started on how well they explain what’s going on with my girl’s health. They break it down and are so patient with us.Dr. Knott has been all of my pets vet and we won’t go see anyone else. July 06 · Koti Loga
- If I could give negative stars I would. My dog was in for a dental and to have a mass removed. That was July 4th and he still has not recovered. There are so many things that went wrong according to the surgical report and the tech I spoke to on the phone tried her hardest to cover it all up. This facility has no regard or remorse for the damage they cause. DO NOT take your fur babies to this hospital. July 22 · Jennifer Schmidt
