Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
I’ve taken our dog and cat to this Banfield, both times I was wowed with the kindness and efficiency of the staff. We were in and out of the office in no time, I was able to make both appointments for the following day, and they accommodated our reactive dog. While I was informed about the wellness plans, I did not feel pressured to buy anything.
Jun 25, 2025 · Angie HendricksHighly would recommend you seek vet care somewhere else…. The vet told us to purchase the prescription diet and to get her some medication but sadly we could not afford this…. They then said “its worth it if you love them” trying to make me feel absolutely horrible for seeking help, I went in based on getting help for my sick cat using the free vet visit and ended up paying 200 + , they pressured me into getting the wellness program and I was told you could cancel the wellness program but was just NOW told if you cancel you will be billed the full amount of almost 500$ or more…. And ONTOP OF THAT IT HITS YOUR CREDIT- THEY SHOULD BE TELLING PEOPLE THIS , especially ones that are coming to them for help with their beloved pet family member…. After filling a complaint and sending in a email I’m still waiting on a response from corporate, I took my cat else where and she got better with the alternatives they suggested. I think it’s totally unfair to me and the customers that you do this too. This really really take a toll on me! I wish someone would have told me this but now I’m being trapped by this company into paying, given the circumstances I really hope corporate finds a resolution to this…. I will not be back.
May 13, 2025 · DesThe staff are amazing. Our fur baby get anxious when we go in and they are quick to take her back to keep her calm. They also are very good at explaining things to you. Very patient and great with our dog.
Oct 07, 2024 · Elizabeth HydeThe front desk people were really nice, as well as the person who helped us before the actual vet but that’s about it. the vet we were assigned to was very rude and had no “bedside”, for lack of better wording, manner at all. while they had our cat in the back, we could hear everything they were saying and it wasn’t pleasant. they kept calling our cat “obese”, word for word they said “yeah just what i wanted today, an obese cat’s pee on me”. i understand it’s upsetting to have that happen and that may sound silly, but as vets do they not know a lot of animals, especially cats, get nervous in the carriers? and our cat is not obese, he has a lot of fur and we only feed him half a cup of food in the morning and at night. he’s just a bigger cat. we had brought him in because he was limping, and they couldn’t even give us any conclusive results. just super rude and hurtful to hear your beloved pet talked about like that. they could’ve said it if they wanted, whatever, but not loud enough where we could hear them that clearly. unprofessional and rude, would not recommend.
