★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Love the Banfield team!! Dr. Dunbar is an excellent dogtor, explains everything thoroughly, answers all questions and always makes herself available. May 12 · Yocelin FernandezWe were definitely not overly impressed with this Banfield office. It took about an hour from our appointment time for a vet to actually meet with us, and he was very dismissive of the concerns we brought up about our dog, while recommending a lot of exams that were ultimately unnecessary. He was having eye issues and one of the over $100 tests that was recommended was to see if his eyes were dry... which the vet was able to tell us by looking at the dog and prescribed OTC eye drops. Definitely did not need that test. Then we mentioned an issue he's been having with neuropathy and the vets whole answer was "that happens, he's old"... not empathic or helpful. We've been treating our dog with Cosequinn and Vitamin D or E I can't recall, and that is working really well- the only reason we knew to do this was from my mom who also has aging dogs and our own online research. The vet had absolutely nothing helpful to say about it , when this was literally wrecking my dog's life and he was unable to walk or move for days at a time until our treatments started working... They also shamed me for not gettng him groomed in an appropriate time- a symptom of him being absolutely unable to move or walk from the neuropathy, which was unpredictable...
August 20 · Dayna RestrepoKimie and the team in white plains were amazing, as always. It's the only place I can take my cat for health checkups , where he doesn't freak out. I trust the care of this team amongst other location in the area.
April 10 · PrettiboiminajI’m only giving 2 stars for their customer service… everything else would be a one star. They keep your pets in cages for hours until they can be looked at. I brought my eight-year-old cat in because I noticed tears in her right eye and swelling for three days. There wasn’t much discharge, but she was squinting a lot. Prior to appointment, I gave her 100mg of gabapentin to help calm her nerves b/c she’s a very anxious feisty cat at the vet. My drop off time was 10:30 AM and she was taken in the back around 11 AM. I made it very clear to the front staff that she is anxious & will put up a fight& also that I had provided her with gabapentin to calm her nerves. She was not seen till three hours later and upon seeing her the doctor states she was too feisty for them to even take a look at her. The doctor told me she wasn’t able to get blood from her and she wasn’t able to do the eye stain to check her eyes, then proceeded to say that her eyes seem perfectly fine and she opened them up nice and wide for them when she was there. Upon returning home the next morning, I still noticed tears in the cats eye That looked to have a pink tint to it. Upon cleaning and wiping my cats eye with a clean cotton swab, I could clearly see it was a bit of blood mixed in. My eye is clearly not fine. I’ve attached a video of her eye after the visit where they claimed her eye was fine. The first photo is before the vet appointment. The second photo is the next day after.
June 27 · TaJana LeeKimmy and Janine were so helpful and wonderful. They explained everything to me in great detail about what they were going to do during my dogs visit. They also took such excellent care of my dog.
