Client experiences, as demonstrated by the provided reviews, offer mixed perspectives. One client expressed immense gratitude, praising the clinic for their compassion, support, and ability to keep both pet and owner calm and informed during a difficult time. This reflects the positive impact a dedicated veterinary team can have, building trust and providing invaluable emotional support alongside medical care. This type of feedback underscores the potential for Banfield Campbell to be a deeply valued partner in a pet's health journey.
However, another review detailed a highly negative experience, citing poor waiting room management, a lack of staff professionalism, and inadequate handling of a frightened pet during a routine flea treatment. This feedback highlights areas where improvements are necessary, particularly concerning stress management for animals in the clinic environment, staff training in handling distressed pets, and consistent communication with pet owners. For locals, such experiences are critical to consider, as they speak to the overall quality of care and the client's comfort level within the clinic.
Ultimately, Banfield Pet Hospital Campbell's suitability for locals depends on individual needs and priorities. For those prioritizing a structured preventative care approach and a wide range of services within a recognizable network, it offers a compelling option. The convenience and range of services are undoubtedly strong points, but the importance of consistent, high-quality, and empathetic care, especially in stressful situations for pets, cannot be overstated.

Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
I just want to say thank you for everything you’ve done. This clinic is truly the best place I could have ever brought my girl. Every time she’s needed care especially when she was sick you were there with answers, support, and compassion. You not only took care of her, but you helped me stay calm and informed. The way you treat her with such patience and love means the world to me. I trust you completely and am so grateful we found you.
May 13, 2025 · Erika BarreraI am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent visit to your clinic. I came in for a routine flea treatment for my healthy pet, expecting a basic, compassionate, and professional service. Instead, I encountered chaos, distress, and an alarming lack of care from your staff. The waiting area was extremely poorly managed, with multiple barking dogs that clearly distressed not only my pet but likely many others. As someone with years of experience rescuing and caring for animals, I was shocked that such a stressful environment was allowed to persist in a veterinary clinic. When it was time to administer the flea treatment, I was told to restrain my visibly frightened pet myself—despite the fact that it is the professional’s responsibility to manage such situations calmly and with skill. The vet refused to approach my pet, offered no explanation, and then vanished without further communication. I was left alone, confused, and very upset. This experience has left me not only disappointed but deeply concerned. As someone who works in healthcare and has devoted time and energy to animal rescue, I expect more compassion, patience, and professionalism—especially from those who have chosen to dedicate their careers to animal care.My pet is also my emotional support animal, and this visit caused unnecessary stress to both of us. I have never encountered such a lack of empathy and professionalism anywhere else for 6 years of taking my pet to clinics .I sincerely hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements in staff training, communication, and facility management. No animal or guardian should have to go through such an experience for something as basic as flea prevention.
May 15, 2025 · Anda M.If I could give 0 stars I would. I trusted this vet clinic with my beloved dog for many many years. I brought her in because she had a very noticeable limp. I requested that an X-ray be performed. They visually checked her out and said they didn't notice a limp and if there is one it is because of her age and the fact that she is a few pounds over weight. They refused the scans citing that they were not necessary. The vet prescribed medication and sent us on our way. The medication didn't help and I went to get a second opinion where she was diagnosed with Histiocytic Sarcoma - terminal. They performed a scan and found that it was a tumor causing her limp. They also found tumors in one of her lungs and kidneys.Banfield (I have been to multiple locations) just cares about getting animals in and out of the door. They aren't available when your pet needs it the most. They are dismissive of the needs of the pets and are only interested in your monthly payment to their Wellness Plans.
Mar 14, 2025 · Michelle Andrews1. It doesn’t matter which Banfield they’ll leave you on hold for an hour if they could at any time of the day.2. I dropped my cat for a UTI and they checked for anything but that. Now she’s still struggling and showing MORE symptoms and has to be taken to a different Vet and more money has to be spent.
