Another appreciated that their dog was "calm, not stressed at all" during the visit, which points to a comfortable environment created by the staff.
Focus on Pet Well-being First: A notable highlight from a positive review involves the veterinarian's decision to delay vaccinations to treat an ear infection first. Reasonable Pricing and Customer Consideration (based on some past experiences): One reviewer praised the "reasonable" cost of services and even received a credit due to a longer-than-expected appointment, showing a gesture of goodwill and consideration for the customer's time. Quito Veterinary Hospital Reviews
A wonderful caring place to take your pet. I took my dog for her shots and the vet said her ears were both infected, she wanted to treat the infection and hold off on the shots until her ears are clear. My dog was calm, not stressed at all, the cost was reasonable and I was given a credit because they were backed up and felt bad that the appointment took longer. I love this place
Sep 03, 2022 · lois TarterThis place is far different than what it used to be. I tried to use their service twice this year but each time it turned out like a total rip-off. First time it was for my cat's vaccines and this time today they gave me a $2,200+ quote for a small wound on my cat's face including the entire workup - all the exams and tests that you can think of. Those are completely unnecessary. Maybe it is the economy or could be the new ownership. Seems this place is just so desperate for money and does not care about their long-term customers like me. Fortunately I found another vet and paid $400 eventually for the treatment. Glad that there are still ethical people out there. I will never return to Quito Vet again.
Dec 13, 2024 · Connie B.I took my old cat in for an all around shave and exam for urinary infections. Despite not being able to watch or be near my cat because of the full curbside service, all staff members were so friendly and assuring that I felt like I left my cat in good hands. She came back pretty calm and in better shape than before, although my wallet is slightly thinner after the invoice. I think the price was fair, though, especially after all the care that went into this first time visit.
Mar 03, 2022 · Maria YamamuroQuito Veterinary Staff and veterinarians have helped my animals numerous times!! I see these bad reviews from individuals and luckily I have never experienced this before. If I could give 10 stars I definitely would! They are caring, empathetic and very knowledgeable. The hospital does get busy, however, it is worth the wait due to the care they put into our fur babies. So highly recommend!
Jul 12, 2024 · Samantha SalasThis is the second Google review I write in my life! - Today was a hard day. Our 15y cat went to forever-sleep, and I made the decision to let her go. Her upper body was full of water, and the only option for our uninsured cat would have been 24hrs care at some facility that is equipped for such intense treatment, keeping her there, releasing the water, finding the cause - from cancer to hear disease and everything that this implies.Don't want to dive into the details of my cat :( here, she was a wonderful cat! But want to share this incredible experience that this was the first ever vet visit in the Bay Area where I felt being treated fairly, respectfully, empathetically, understood, met where I am. I was TRULY impressed and am very grateful for your emotional support and understanding that I need to take the optimal route for this visit and my pet in the light of Bay Area living conditions. I felt being treated equally, getting all the information, being included in decision making, and 100% emotionally supported.I will definitely come back with my dog and younger cat. THANK YOU QUITO VET HOSPITAL for your help today, and finding the right balance between services and circumstances. I felt I got the exact right amount of information to make my own decisions about my cat. I can highly recommend you and your kind and knowledgable team!
