★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I cannot say much about this location. I had my cat put down and the prices seemed fair. When I arrived only one client was there and there was no one in sitting room. Putting a pet down you had over 13 years is a hard choice if you think they may still make it another few month to a few years. But I decided since he cried all the way and I drove him alone that I wanted to be with him till the end. The tech was very kind n soft spoken but he told me I could not since the day before I picked not to go in the room. I sat there n thought I get it if this place had people sitting everywhere. I waited for at least ten minutes they brought my carrier back empty. I asked was he gone and was told yes. There was no one in the waiting room or parking lot when I left. I had to go to another pet shot place a week later in Canton to help with a cat. I told them what happened and they said a person can change their mind and most of the time it’s done in a back room. That if was a problem then reschedule n took him back home. People feel bad enough like betrayal to their pet. Location is a good location and plenty of places to sit in a huge waiting room.
July 23 · Kellie CuneioDr. White and Madeline are literal angels. Gracie boarded many times at Bartow and had her standard preventative care here. Most recently she was diagnosed with liver failure. Dr. White took the time to figure out why Gracie wasn't doing well and when the blood tests came back, he came in and sat beside me and held my hand while he told me she was sick (also 15 years old) and the chances of her getting better were slim. He gave me treatment options (that most likely wouldn't work and Would be hard on her) and end of life options. He didn't try to sell me some bill of goods to make money, and he could have. He was honest. He was kind and gentle with me and with Gracie. He made the time to answer every single question I had, and gave me time to think about what I wanted to ask. He did not rush me in any way, and encouraged me to take my time. We didn't do anything that day, we just went home. Gracie ultimately crossed the rainbow bridge, suffering no more. The vet tech Madeline sat with me at her end of life appointment, loved on my baby girl like they had been besties their whole lives, she gave Gracie treats and kisses as well. Madeline let me stay with Gracie until I was ready for them to take her, which was probably longer than they imagined. I can't recommend them enough. Their kindness and compassion is second to none. The experience is horrid, but being with people who take care of you AND your pet, that's hard to find.
May 15 · katlyn mcbrayerWe came here to have our old soul looked at. The vet was extremely patient and kind and took all the time in the world to explain things and answer all our questions. He answered all of my sons questions. We were faced to make a difficult decision for our old girl Gracie after xrays. The vet stood by as we discussed it as a family and knew exactly the perfect timing to put his input that was needed. The vet techs here were so supportive as we all helped Gracie cross the rainbow bridge. I can't even explain the compassion and kindness and the softness of all the staff from the moment we stepped in the door. I highly highly recommend this place to care for your fur babies and I will return with my others for updating shots, nail trims and etc.
February 20 · Tiffany LongI had found a cat that was very sick. Called several places and no one would see him because we were not established patients. This vet agrees to see him but only as a drop off. The vet called and recommended he be pts because he tested positive for FIV. I assured him this was not an automatic death sentence as I’ve had several FIV+ cats and they lived good lives with the proper care. I went to pick him up and they had only given him a rabies shot (shouldn’t do that to a very sick cat), given him fluids and a Convenia shot and that was it (all that was listed on his $350 bill). They did not even clean his face of all the mucous and blood. This was the most uncaring vet ever. I brought him home and with the assistance of a friend, treated him holistically and he is the healthiest FIV+ cat ever living his best life. Pictures are of him in the condition the vet sent him home and the other is him today after being treated at home holistically.
November 23 · Claire SmithThis is the best vet I’ve ever went too! I had a 15 year old cat they cared for him for years. Lost him to cancer they did tests over night with free housing and just cared for him and me so well🥰. My new cat goes here despite me not living in Cartersville anymore it’s worth the trip!
