Betlem Veterinary Services Reviews
We have had routine and emergency visits. I will trust no other team with our pets! Great staff who are all welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. Dr. Betlem is always transparent when speaking with you which goes along way in building trust.Total respect for the entire team!
Feb 18, 2025 · Alicia HudsonMy 3-year-old Boxer, Gary, was in bad shape—he cried all day and night and couldn’t even stand up in the morning due to a leg injury. He was not eating or drinking and could not even stand up on his own. I called Betlem Animal Hospital and left a voicemail before they opened. To my surprise, they called me back before their official hours and were able to fit us in, even though we were new clients. They were incredibly thoughtful, allowing Gary to stay in the car until they were ready, which helped reduce his stress. Dr. Dusty and the entire staff were amazing. They treated Gary with care and compassion, one of the staff even laid on the floor with Gary while I paid my bill and scheduled my follow up. After the visit, with IV fluids and meds, I carried him back inside and laid him in his bed. He slept for hours, and when he woke up, it was like night and day—the improvement was remarkable.Dr. Dusty could’ve easily pushed for X-rays and a bunch of tests, especially with how worried I was, but he only did what was necessary based on his initial assessment (which he explained every step of the way). That kind of honesty and integrity means everything. I have so much respect for him and his team, and I’m grateful I found a vet I can truly trust.I don’t normally write reviews, but just a few hours after our visit, I felt compelled to share this experience. I really hope Dr. Dusty stays in the area for many years to come—he’s got a new loyal client in us.Thank you!Steve

Feb 13, 2025 · OradonDr. Betlem really does care about his patients. My boy is 12 years old. He developed arthritis but Dr. Betlem has helped me manage his pain so he can continue his active lifestyle in his twilight years.
Jul 03, 2025 · Mia DavisIm not sure where to begin in attempting to even come close to describing the level of unprofessionalism, disrespect, aggressive demeanor, absolute lack of compassion, dismissive behavior, unethical practices, and what felt like careless and completely incorrect diagnosis’s, that we received during our visit with Dr. White. As an animal lover and owner I encourage you to stay away from this veterinarian office and seek care elsewhere.Should you ever have the need to question the accuracy of something their staff does, you will only be met with pugnacious and hostile behavior. For our family it was being concerned that a medication error was made and our family dog was administered the incorrect injectable medication causing him to become severely ill.Dr. White did not verify or check documentation, dosing, administration, strength, amount of medication remaining on hand, or provide any semblance of reassurance to us that our dog did receive the correct medication to put our minds at ease.In fact, she did the exact opposite by flat out refusing to complete any checks at all. Despite explaining to her in great detail that the number of vials purchased, dosages administered, verses what should have been left didn’t seem to be accurate or correct, and indicating that a medication error was most likely made, she refused to verify any information what so ever.Instead she worked extremely hard to display how unethical, incompetent, and negligent she is, making it seem even more apparent that a mistake was made. She even refused to provide me the vial of the medication in question to verify myself what was “left,” until I told her that legally she can’t withhold it since it was medication that was already purchased. Her response was to storm out of the room, ask her staff for it then ask loudly enough for me to hear “How much is supposed to be left?,” then returning to the room and still not sharing that information with us. She then provided us a bottled with no indication it was for our pet, no name, and still refusing to comment on anything related to our concerns. We immediately took our animal to a highly recommended veterinary hospital following this visit and were quickly reassured that the diagnosis given by Dr. White were all in fact not accurate.Contact was made with Dr. Betlem directly the following day to share our concern and feedback regarding our visit with Dr. White. Upon expressing our ordeal with him and the grave disappointment in the interactions with his staff that day, he proceeded to call my Mother a liar, dramatic, laugh at her, showed no concern for our animal, and stated that he’s known all of his staff for all of his life. Family members maybe??Dr. Betlem was unaccountable, condescending, dismissive, uncaring, and disrespectful.
