PetWellClinic - Scott Township is conveniently located at 1100 Washington Ave Suite 114, Carnegie, PA 15106, USA. This accessible location positions it perfectly for residents of Scott Township, Carnegie, and surrounding communities within Allegheny County, including Pittsburgh's southwestern suburbs. Washington Avenue is a well-known thoroughfare, making the clinic easy to find and reach.
The clinic's placement within a commercial area typically offers ample parking, which is a significant convenience for pet owners. Being situated in Carnegie, a vibrant borough with strong community ties, PetWellClinic provides a local and easily reachable option for various pet care needs. The emphasis on walk-in services also inherently enhances accessibility, allowing pet owners to bring their animals in when immediate, non-emergency attention is needed, rather than waiting for scheduled openings. This focus on convenience makes it an excellent resource for busy Pennsylvania households.
PetWellClinic - Scott Township focuses on a streamlined range of services designed for quick, effective, and preventative care, while also managing minor ailments and chronic conditions. Their model is built around efficiency without compromising quality.
- Wellness and Preventative Care: Including comprehensive physical exams, tailored vaccination packages for both dogs and cats (e.g., Feline 3-in-1 (FVRCP), Feline Leukemia, Rabies; Ideal Dog Package with core vaccines), and microchipping.
- Minor Ailment Treatment: Addressing common, non-life-threatening conditions such as upper respiratory infections (like Jessica the cat's URI), ear infections, skin irritations, minor cuts and scrapes, and gastrointestinal issues like diarrhea and vomiting.
- Chronic Condition Management: Providing ongoing care and medication for long-term health issues like hypothyroidism and diabetes, helping pets maintain a good quality of life.
- Parasite Prevention: Offering affordable prevention and treatment options for heartworm, fleas, and ticks.
- Lab Tests: Performing necessary in-house lab tests to aid in diagnosis and monitoring, though more specialized tests may be sent out with results provided transparently.
- Nail Trims: Routine grooming services like nail trims, often included in wellness packages, contribute to overall pet comfort.
- PetWell® Packages: Convenient and affordable bundled services for puppies, kittens, adult dogs, and cats that include exams, vaccinations, fecal tests, and deworming.
It is important to note that as a walk-in wellness and minor ailment clinic, PetWellClinic generally does not offer complex surgical procedures, extensive dental work requiring anesthesia, or emergency services for life-threatening conditions. For those, they would typically recommend a full-service animal hospital.
PetWellClinic - Scott Township distinguishes itself through several key features that consistently receive high praise from local pet owners in Pennsylvania.
- Convenient Walk-In Model: A paramount highlight is the "no appointment necessary" policy. This means "you get quick service but effective service," allowing pet owners to bring their pets in when needed, eliminating the stress of long waits for scheduled appointments. "If you have a need to get to a vet who will take care of your cat or dog quickly these the people to go see."
- Affordable and Transparent Pricing: Clients frequently commend the "excellent prices compared to other animal hospitals" and that they are "very up front with all costs." This commitment to affordability without compromising quality makes essential pet care accessible to more families.
- Compassionate and Caring Staff: The team receives consistent praise for their genuine love for animals. "The vet and the vet tech took care of her like she was their own," for a cat with an upper respiratory infection. Another client noted how "well they handle our cat Minerva who is a jerk," highlighting their patience and skill with challenging pets.
- Focus on Efficiency: The clinic is designed for quick, "in and out" service, as one reviewer stated, "Every time we visited we get another so quick." This efficiency is a core part of their walk-in model.
- Tailored Treatment Options: The staff actively discusses and opts for the best treatment for the pet, as seen with Jessica the cat's antibiotic shot instead of oral medication due to difficulty. This personalized approach is highly valued.
- Professional and Knowledgeable Team: Clients consistently describe the staff and doctors as professional, knowledgeable, and helpful, ready to answer questions and provide thorough care.
- Clean and Welcoming Environment: The clinics are often described as clean and not having the typical "smelly vet" odor, contributing to a more pleasant experience for both pets and owners.

PetWellClinic - Scott Township Reviews
My oldest Kitty had an upper respiratory infection. I took her to Pet Well in Scott Township and they were absolutely wonderful with her. The vet and the vet tech took care of her like she was their own. They looked at all the options and decided to treat her with a antibiotic shot. Like most cats she's difficult to give oral meds too so we opted not to go that route. I can't speak highly enough of the staff at this facility if you have a pet you care for this is a win-win! Thank you all for helping Jessica.
May 14, 2025 · Barbara CatanzaroOkay if you love your baby as much as we love our baby then you want to take it to a place where you get quick service but effective service.I'm so appreciative to both the people that work there how well they handle our cat Minerva who is a jerk.Every time we visited we get another so quick. If you have a need to get to a vet who will take care of your cat or dog quickly these the people to go see.I very much recommend them.
Feb 07, 2025 · The Foss (Your Personal Satan)My old man was seen here for an ear infection. They were so kind to him with lots of treats and got him in and out as quickly as possible. There is going to be a wait but they do allow you to wait inside with your pet. The lobby is small though so I'm sure it fills up. Prices are reasonable! The office exam price was typical of a wellness clinic price, no upcharge for same day services. They were great!
Jun 27, 2025 · A LatDr. Kara came into the exam room, introduced herself to myself and then got down on the floor to greet my dog! During her exam she was very gentle, thorough and wonderful with my fur baby. She explained what and why she was doing every step of the way and answered every question I had. She took the time to truly listen to my concerns and went over every option possible with me. You can tell she truly loves animals and is in veterinarian medicine for all the right reasons!
