Blacksburg Animal Clinic Reviews
My dog hadn’t eaten in 4 days, starting on a Thursday (knowing they weren’t open on the weekend). So I called first thing, 0800, Monday morning to see if they could let me in to see the Vet. In my mind, it’s more of an Emergency, because my 4yr old girl hadn’t been acting her normal self. Instead she was very lethargic, no appetite, her hind legs shook when urinating. But the receptionist seamed cold hearted, and replied that there was no time to see her that day, but instead could see her after the holidays! I’m sorry, but let’s make my girl’s suffering just last several more days. So took her to Town and Country, and after waiting for 4 hours, found out my girl had a rupture in her intestinal track and was bleeding with zero platelets to clot the wound and passed away that day.In time of need, Blacksburg Animal Clinic will be happy to refuse service, but when it’s right for them, they would be happy to take your money.
Dec 25, 2024 · Brett McClellandA great vet clinic. The nurses clearly love the animals and are very caring for both pet and owner. The doctors are also very helpful and knowledgeable. The first time I came was when I adopted a small 3mo old kitten. It was my very first time owning any sort of pet so I was very anxious. However, the staff were very nice and helped guide me throughout the whole process. The second time was when my kitten sneezed blood which was very scary. They didn’t have appointment slots that day, but they let me drop him off in the morning so they could check him out the moment they were free. The doctor was very calming and thoroughly explained what was wrong and how they would help.
Sep 13, 2024 · TikkiI have been here a couple of times and have had care for my cat. We saw Dr Graham and Dr Watson. They are very patient and considerate of our budget. Great care for our pet. So glad to see these Doctors carry on the good care that we use to receive from Dr Casey Jones from decades ago.
Feb 17, 2025 · Elaine CookI'm over the moon thrilled with Dr. Graham. She was extremely thorough in her exam on my 11 year old Great Pyrenees and explained everything in detail. I have hope now that he will be more comfortable in the time he has left. The staff at this clinic is gentle and caring. If you are looking for a true, fear free experience for your animals, this is the place to take them.Photo of TaDa resting comfortably.
Sep 04, 2024 · Elizabeth VavalaThis clinic may be small but it is mighty!Dr. Watson has over 10 years of experience and is so kind and compassionate. Dr. Cook recently joined the practice and is the most down to earth person I have ever met. Both doctors care so much about their patients and clients and I have witnessed first hand all of the lives they have touched. You couldn’t ask for better people to take care of your pets. The staff, receptionists and assistants, are out of this world. The customer service from reception is phenomenal and the assistants in the back always go above and beyond. Overall, I adore this clinic and every person working there. I can’t wait to see all the amazing things they accomplish in the future 🩵
