★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Highly recommend this team! They not only hold the medical expertise we needed, but are obvious animal lovers and showed great care and compassion. We're grateful for their skills to restore health to our dog's eyesight! He's like a new dog!
June 17 · Stacy HammondThe Vet and staff are amazing. I spent months being my dog's guide as his eyes had corneal ulcers in them & couldn't see. & The Vet here fixed them.My local vet misdiagnosed my dog's eye problem & said he didn't have ulcers (he never tested his eyes). Meanwhile my dog was losing his sight not able to open his eyes, and they were getting worse. Antibiotics weren't working. I was so scared & so was my dog. My dog was getting more & more depressed. But I was determined that he had ulcers in his eyes & needed a 2nd opinion..I brought my dog to Bluegrass Veterinary Vision, & they confirmed with tests he did indeed have ulcers. He went through 2 procedures and is able to see as normal. He's on a forever eye drop to prevent ulcers from coming back, but I'm so Friggen relieved he can see and enjoy his life. It has made me so happy he got his sight back after months of stress.Thank you all so so much!!!
February 05 · M BVery happy with the vet and her staff. They explained everything so that I understood. Was awesome with my furbabies anxiety. Just a consult but I have scheduled Max's surgery. UPDATE- Max's surgery went great. They were amazing with him. His last follow up visit was today and everything was good. You can't even tell that a big mole was removed off his eyelid. Definitely recommend Bluegrass!!!!
August 06 · Judy ThompsonNot only is Dr. Tolar great, but every staff member we encountered was fantastic! Everyone loved on our dog, and he was so excited to see them every time. Our dog was diagnosed with diabetes in May, and by September, he developed cataracts from it. They did preliminary tests and said he was a candidate for surgery, so we did it. He was so much better immediately, and had cinematic to improve over the weeks. It is an amazing team at BVV.
March 26 · Teri HallDr. Tolar and team are professional, compassionate and most importantly SKILLED. My dog had a dime sized mass growing on her lid. We were extremely nervous for it to be removed, but the whole team walked us through every step and eased our concerns. The surgery and recuperation was seamless. Dr. Tolar and her team are so good at what they do, my pups eye had minimal scarring and healed beautifully. You can barely tell which eye had a mass to begin with. They are WORTH IT! WE ARE SO GREATFUL for them!!!! They are a JEWEL for our animal community. Thank you all so much!
