Understanding the scope of care provided by a facility like BluePearl can empower pet owners to make informed decisions when their beloved animals require specialized or urgent attention.
BluePearl Pet Hospital is not a typical neighborhood veterinary clinic; it operates as a 24-hour emergency and specialty referral hospital. This means it is equipped to handle everything from sudden, life-threatening emergencies to chronic conditions requiring in-depth diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. For Seattle locals, this translates to having a facility that can provide immediate medical intervention during off-hours or when their primary veterinarian is unavailable, as well as offering access to highly specialized veterinary expertise in fields like internal medicine, surgery, and critical care. The presence of such a high-level facility within the community is a significant asset, ensuring that even in the most dire circumstances, advanced medical attention is within reach for their cherished pets.
BluePearl Pet Hospital is strategically located at 805 Madison St Suite 100, Seattle, WA 98104, USA. This central downtown Seattle address places it within a hub of medical facilities and ensures relatively straightforward access for pet owners throughout the greater Seattle area and beyond in Washington. Given its role as an emergency and specialty hospital, accessibility is paramount, especially during urgent situations.
For those traveling by car, Madison Street is a major thoroughfare, connecting various parts of the city. It's always advisable to confirm parking availability, especially during an emergency. Public transportation is also a viable option; numerous bus routes serve the downtown core, with stops conveniently located within walking distance of the hospital. This connectivity is vital for pet owners who may not have immediate access to a vehicle or prefer public transit. The clinic's accessibility ensures that whether you're coming from nearby neighborhoods like Capitol Hill or Pioneer Square, or from further afield in the Washington state, you can reach this critical care facility when it matters most.

BluePearl Pet Hospital Reviews
This place is despicable. They gouge people with insanely overpriced medicine and materials. During desperate times this clinic has no problem taking advantage of pet owners in distress. I attached our invoice for transparency. You can see they charged over $65 for an e collar that normally retails for less than $10. They charged over $68 for Clavamox which normally costs less than $30 for the same dosage, and we were charged over $52 for Gabapentin, which you can get online for less than $3!!!!They rob you while holding your beloved pet as hostage.
May 31, 2025 · paul cooperOn what was truly one of the most stressful and scary days of my life, this team of incredible veterinarians treated my cat with extraordinary care, compassion, and urgency. And thanks to them, he’s now home recovering, safe and sound. Thank you so much to Dr, Kathleen Wirth, Imani, Libby, Brett, and Isabelle (to name only a few of this very sweet staff). And a very special thank you to Dr. Hannah Bohbot. I cannot overstate how much their professionalism, empathy, and steady communication meant to me during such a frightening experience. As cheesy as it may sound, they didn’t just treat my cat, they supported me through it too (I was a mess). From letting me spend time with my cat while he was in the ICU, to checking on him non-stop, to sending me updates and photos overnight, to answering my many (MANY) phone calls, the level of care was top notch. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
May 28, 2025 · Eva GoodWe took our dog in recently after she had potentially ingested Tylenol. The staff was terrific and we were very happy with the care our dog received. The costs are crazy expensive..... luckily they actually gave us some money back at the end and our total price was less than the lower estimate. Thank goodness.
Jun 26, 2025 · lori hughesWanted to send a shoutout to the entire team here - my pug was having weakness in his back leg and I was so worried it was something serious after his previous back injury. Thank you so much for getting us in so quickly to the open appointment for neurology this morning. Reggie will be resting for the next few weeks and we appreciate your kindness and care :)
May 22, 2025 · Ryan ShermanTook our 14 yo dog there on a Sunday morning because she appeared to be having what looked to us like a stroke...confusion, nervous, head and eye movement, and could not stand or walk steadily. But, by the time we were ready to go she appeared better and when we arrived she seemed to be back to normal. But, we decided we still wanted her to be looked at. They were speedy at the front desk in helping us fill out the paperwork and we didn't have to wait long to see a tech. The tech was very friendly, sympathetic, and thorough in her questions. She took this information to the vet on duty. Based on all information they assured us it was likely not a stroke and since she was back to normal, to wait to consult our regular vet on Monday, unless it happened again that day or evening. She did say their vet would be willing to see her then, but we agreed it was ok to monitor the rest of the day. When we went to pay they told us there would be no charge! We have friends who recommended BluePearl Hospitals. We can now recommend them too!
