Dermatology Center for Animals

430 Yale Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109, USA

4.0
My visit was great. The office is clean, quiet, and calm. Bonus for free designated parking in the South Lake Union area. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. Dr. Mel took time to explain a lot of information using a whiteboard (see attached photo). It made it clear and easy to understand. I especially appreciated being able to see the inside of my dog’s ears on screen. I found the vet’s approach to treatment to be conservative to start. My only expense in his office today was for the exam. We are going to try a diet modification for 6-8 weeks to see if that will help and then proceed from there if needed. - Jolene H

For pet owners across Washington, ensuring the health and comfort of our beloved animal companions is a priority. While general veterinary care covers a broad spectrum of needs, sometimes our pets require specialized attention. One such area of expertise is veterinary dermatology, which focuses on conditions affecting the skin, ears, and paws. If your furry friend is dealing with persistent itching, hair loss, chronic ear infections, or other dermatological issues, knowing where to find expert care is crucial. This article provides an in-depth look at the Dermatology Center for Animals (DCA) in Seattle, a dedicated resource for pet owners seeking specialized dermatological solutions for their pets.

Veterinary dermatology is a highly specialized field that addresses a wide range of skin, ear, and nail disorders in animals.
