Brenford Animal Hospital Reviews
Normally lacking in organization and professional expertise. Had one of them forget about me in one of the rooms waiting on a vaccine for about half an hour. They don't bill you for medication up front and send that in the mail. Had one of the recommend feeding my dog burnt pellets of shite instead of real food and a multivitamin. Pretty decent for what's around but that's not much of a compliment.
Jun 28, 2025 · Some GuyMy Lilla was throwing up all night on Thursday, Friday I took her to the vet, and they found she had Polycythemia, too many red blood cells, I had to leave her there for treatment, they called me back to pick her up, and Monday I was supposed to take her back for another treatment, but few hours after I brought her home she started bleeding from her back side, a lot of blood, my son rushed her to the emergency animal hospital, by the time he got there she was dead. They were very sorry, but my baby is dead, brenford animal clinic the vet didn't know what he was doing, he admitted he hasn't seen a case like my Lilla's, so he basically used her as a kinny pig, I blame myself also, because I should have noticed he looked like he didn't really know what to do, he should have told me to take my baby to a clinic that cares for furbabies over night, but he didn't he wanted to try this treatment on my baby, well he needs to learn more about what he said my Lilla has, truth, I don't even think he knew what was wrong with Lilla, I'm traumatized of what happened to my Lilla, I had to watch her struggle to breathe and watch her bleed to death on my bed where she slept, I cry everyday, most people in Smyrna Delaware knew Lilla, I took her everywhere I went, this was few months ago, and I'm still asked where is prencer, that was her nick name at certain stores, because once she had that vest on stating she's at work, she would prence like a horse, till this day I can't believe my Lilla is gone. She got me through my adult daughter's death. My youngest adult daughter passed on September 19 2019 28 years old. She got me through my stepson death on March 25 2022, and my husband's death on July 18 2022, I wish I never took her to get checked out, I wish I waited one day, maybe she would have been OK and still with me, I cry as I'm driving to the store or whatever I took her with me, a cry like a baby as I'm driving . I know I wil never find a furbaby like Lilla, she swore she was a human baby, and she wasn't going to sit on the floor when I took her to places that had chairs, she sat on the chairs, everyone loved my baby, she was so well behaved, I never should have took her to the vet, but she was my baby and just like I would do for my children if they were not feeling well, it could be something that will pass but I don't like taking chances if i see any of my babies not feeling well I'm going to want to know what's wrong with my baby, and Lilla was my furbaby, whatever she had I should have waited at least 1 day see if I see her getting back to normal, but noooo I had to quickly make an emergency appointment for her was worried, but I wish I didn't take her to brenford animal clinic. This is soo hard I can't stop thinking what she went through, and I wasn't with her, I went home thinking what the vet said, she will be fine over the weekend, I was to take her back the following Monday for another treatment of whatever this vet said she had. But the same day I brought her home she died in front of my eyes, I'm seeing my furbaby struggle to breath and bleeding to death. 😔 😟 🙁 😥 😞.
Jun 26, 2025 · Ada StarEveryone was very kind, caring and compassionate to my cats. They even cleaned up my girls 🤮. Some of the best prices that I could find from any of the other offices in the area. Was worth the travel. Reminded me of my small hometown vets office. Will be using them again in the future.
