I am super picky about our vets, and this is by far the best vet we have ever had. No one knows your cat better. They care as much as you do, and they will make sure you get the best for your baby.I come here regularly for our cats and the rescues we house. It is well worth the cost. Your kitty will get a very thorough exam, and because they only focus on cats, they are much better at diagnosing early so that can save you in the long run. This is not a hospital though, and if your pet is in emergency need, it would be more appropriate to go to Carolina Vet Services hospital. It is kind of the same thing as taking your kid to their regular doctor when they are in need of the emergency room. They will do all they can to help, but are not necessarily set up for that. - Becci Eng

What truly sets the Cat Clinic of Greensboro apart are its unique features and highlights, which have garnered widespread praise from dedicated cat owners across North Carolina.

  • Feline-Exclusive Practice: This is perhaps their most significant highlight. By focusing solely on cats, the clinic creates a calm, stress-free environment free from the anxiety that can be caused by the presence of dogs or other animals. This specialized focus also means their equipment, techniques, and even the ambient sounds are geared towards feline comfort.
  • Exceptional and Compassionate Staff: As highlighted by numerous reviews, the staff, including doctors like Dr. Eillers, are not just professionals but deeply caring individuals. They treat every cat as if it were their own family member, providing immense emotional support to pet owners, especially during difficult times. The testament from a customer about Dr. Eillers crying with them during a pet's euthanasia speaks volumes about their empathy.
  • Thorough and Early Diagnosis: Customers consistently praise the clinic's ability to provide very thorough exams and diagnose issues early. This specialized knowledge in feline health can lead to significant long-term savings by addressing problems before they become more severe or complex, ultimately benefiting your cat's health and your wallet.
  • Deep Understanding of Feline Behavior and Health: Their exclusive focus on cats means they possess an unparalleled understanding of feline physiology, common ailments, and subtle behavioral cues that might indicate health issues. This expertise allows for more accurate and efficient diagnoses.
  • Dedication to Rescue Animals: The clinic's commitment extends to supporting local cat rescues, demonstrating their passion for feline welfare beyond just their regular clientele. This community involvement reflects their genuine love for all cats in need.
  • Long-Term Relationships: Many clients, like the one who has brought their five rescue kittens for 15 years, highlight the long-standing relationships they've built with the clinic. This continuity of care is invaluable for tracking a cat's health history and providing personalized attention throughout their life stages.
  • Not an Emergency Hospital (Important Note for Users): While they offer comprehensive care, it's crucial for pet owners to understand that the Cat Clinic of Greensboro is not an emergency animal hospital. For immediate, life-threatening emergencies, they appropriately advise seeking care at facilities like Carolina Vet Services hospital, akin to knowing when to go to an urgent care vs. an emergency room for human care.
