Bronx Veterinary Center Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I wanted to give a shout out to the staff at the Bronx Veterinary Center, specifically the receptionist Mark/Marc, the vet Dr. Perez and her assistant Karen. After my 13 year old senior dog jumped off the bed, he hurt his back badly. He was completely hunched over, his legs dragged or slowly crumbled beneath him, he could hardly squat to poop and he couldn't life his leg to pee. After a $300 trip to an emergency vet for a simple consultation and some gabapentin, I was told I would need to do an MRI for my dog in order to see what else could be wrong. I'm in college so a $3,000 MRI was simply out of my price range. I waited two days to see if my dogs condition would improve but it only got worse. Running out of options, I contacted this center, after communicating with the receptionist on the phone I was told to bring my dog in and that they would see how they could help. Compared to other places the services were much cheaper and unlike other vets, Dr. Perez and Karen listened to what I had to say and what I thought my dog needed. In the end, they prescribed him anti-inflammatory medication, laser therapy, and lots of rest. Within days I saw an improvement. Its been a little over a month and he's doing great! I want to thank everyone at this vet for helping my little guy!

If You Need A Vet For Your Pet ‘ No Doubt This Is The One !!!! Most Dogs Are Scared Of The Vet But Not Here ‘ You & Your Furbaby Will Love It Here.
July 22 · Sierra CarterHi well the people that work there are awesome. They treat the animals here like family.there is Samantha the nurse she brings so much positive energy.. and if you are not sure of what is happening she takes her time to explain everything to you until you understand. When I brought my prince in (Max) I knew right away Samantha will take care of him .And the Doctor .Dr.Ritichie took her time with max to find out what was wrong with him .They are good people
May 19 · Allison Menifield (allie)If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is the epitome of disorganization and disrespect not just to pet owners, but to the animals they claim to care for.First of all, you’re forced to pay before your pet is even seen. That’s right they demand your money upfront, then leave you waiting for hours with no updates, no communication, and no sense of urgency. It’s a business model built on holding your pet emotionally hostage. Once you’ve paid, you’re locked in. You wait. And wait. And wait. They seem to have absolutely no regard for your time or your animal’s discomfort. The lobby is packed with stressed-out pets and anxious owners, most of whom have been waiting for three hours or more. What’s worse? The staff acts as if this is completely normal. No apologies. No accountability. Just “have a seat” and “we’ll call you when we’re ready.”This isn’t a vet clinic it’s a poorly disguised money trap with a waiting room. Shameful. What happenedv
July 26 · Felix VazquezToday we took our sandy (our Chihuahua mix breed dog) in for a check up because she was going through an episode of reverse sneezing & just didn't seem like her normal self. The Entire staff..front desk receptionist, Tech and doctor were absolutely so amazing friendly & caring. The environment was so welcoming. They showed that their first priority was the care for your pet!! Took our information and set us up in a room right away. Our Sandy can be very shy & nervous in new environments But Samantha sweet talked sandy with hugs, kisses & treats! 😊 (I don't get treated this good going to my own regular doctors appointment! 🤭) So Special Thank you to Samantha & doctor Peter Vyorst!! They Assured us our Sandy was fine & we decided to get Sandy some over due booster shots.Thank you to the team over at The Bronx Veterinary Center 2460 Webster Avenue Bronx NY 10458 For your swift & Caring Service!!![First time visitors.]
