### What is Worth Choosing
The choice of a veterinarian is one of the most important decisions a local pet owner makes. For cat owners, the main draw of Cats Only Veterinary Clinic is clearly the **specialization**. The focused knowledge, the tailored equipment, and the dedicated environment are significant factors that can contribute to better outcomes and a more positive experience for a feline patient.
The facility offers essential services, from proactive **Preventive Care** and life-saving diagnostics to modern surgical options like **Laser Surgery**, positioning it as a potentially strong choice for the medical management of chronic conditions and critical health issues in cats.
However, an informed local user must also consider the available feedback alongside the stated services. While the clinic structure and service list are appealing, the choice of a healthcare provider is deeply personal and relies on trust in the professionals involved. Prospective clients are urged to exercise their own due diligence, perhaps beginning with a non-medical consultation or routine visit, to personally assess the care philosophy and customer service firsthand before committing to complex or critical procedures. The high value of a feline-exclusive facility, particularly in offering services like **Microchip Identification** and comprehensive **Prescription Diets**, remains a core benefit for the Oklahoma cat community. Ultimately, the best choice for a specialized cat clinic is one that aligns both its technical capabilities and its patient care philosophy with the owner’s standards and the cat’s individual needs.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- I had a 3-legged rescue cat named Princess who I brought to her because her stump got very infected. ASPCA Bella said they wanted to remove the entire stump all the way to the hip but I fealt that would be very traumatic on an older cat and asked Dr. Leopard if she thought a partial surgery could be successfully accomplished, and she said she thought so, so I let her do it. She said she got rid of the granulomas, pulled the muscle over the bone, stitched her up, and said she thought the surgery was a success and said she gave me a discount making the bill $600 instead of $1,000. Everything seemed fine for 6 months but then she got a UTI so I took her to Cats Only and she was put on antibiotics which seemed to clear it up. Then she started getting constipated so I took her in to Cats Only and they gave her an enema twice. Then one morning I noticed she had a bad smell at her stump area and to my horror there was green pus...the stump infection returned on Thanksgiving! So we rushed her to an emergency vet in Norman. They told me the infection had spread throughout her body and there was no saving her. My wife and I held her while they put her to sleep. They told me the reason she was getting UTIs and constipation problems was because of the infection.I called Dr. Leopard and asked her "when I brought her in for an enema didn't anybody bother to look at the stump area to examine that area?" She was VERY rude and said she wasn't paid for an exam. I said but it doesn't take much to glance your eyeball just a few inches from where the enema was being applied. She then got very angry and said she would not tolerate me questioning her professionalism and banned me from her clinic (I was never going back anyway) and said she thought the arthritis shots were more important and that the enemas were useless! She never cared to do a follow-up, a minor check up on her surgical work, or have her staff call to check on Princess and I asked her if the patient was more important or does she just see her patients as gold mines? I think she sees them as gold mines! I wish I had listened to Bella. April 09 · Nicholas Covacevich
- We took both of my son's cats here to be fixed. Within 3 days of being fixed both died. Both never urinated again after surgery. We know because we had a new litter box set up for when they came home and it wasn't used either time. I don't know what the vet did but it isn't a coincidence that they both died of the same symptoms. I will never use this vet again and don't suggest anyone else use it either.I posted a review back in 2016 when this happened. It's been removed. Posting again because people deserve to know the treatment isn't always good here. February 08 · Kendra Patterson

- I called today to see about prices for two cats first round of shots and the young lady who answered the phone was very rude and actually hung up on me. She seemed rushed and bothered that I was asking questions so needless to say, I won’t be bringing our cats there but I will be taking them to The Cat Clinic here in Norman as the young lady that answered their phone was so kind and patient with all my questions and broke down the price for each vaccination and so forth.
