Chesapeake Veterinary Hospital Reviews
This animal hospital is the Best we have Ever experienced! We had to have our Bella put down here and they did everything with respect and dignity. The whole staff offered their condolences. Also, the cremation service was very professional. We received Bella’s boxed remains & they even included a separate box with her paw print! We never had an experience like this with our previous cat.Fully recommend this facility for your animal care!
Jun 20, 2024 · John CoddOur cat was diagnosed with Inflammatory bowel disease which has been a roller coaster. She has days where she is fine and then has flare ups of frequent vomiting. Dr. Davis has been amazing through it all. She answers any questions I have with patience and gives the best advice. Dr. Davis is kind, compassionate, and understanding which is everything you would want in a veterinarian. I fully trust her in helping me make the best decisions for our fur baby.
Dec 17, 2024 · Cecelia FontenotThey have treated me and my babies with the utmost care, respect and love that you could hope for. My baby had a herniated disc and instead of sending me elsewhere to some impersonal vet er, they stayed late and made sure he was in as little pain as possible. It's easy to find a vet for your babies but it's much much harder to find somewhere like Chesapeake Veterinary Hospital that cares for your babies like they were their own. Unless I relocate far out of the area, I will never go anywhere else.
Nov 27, 2023 · Norm SmallwoodThis place indirectly killed my dog. We took him in for limping in his front paw originally. The vet working with us was kind, but played it off as arthritis because he's getting old, understandable. We took him back in 2 weeks later because his condition was severely declining and he could barely walk with his back legs, after being able to use them fine just 2 weeks before. Again, the vet said it was just arthritis, without doing any tests or taking any concern that this dog seemingly developed extreme arthritis in under two weeks. He has cancer. The cancer has spread and he has internal bleeding. We took him to an emergency vet because he stopped eating. He can barely walk. Hes in his last days now. I cant imagine where we would be if the vets had just understood that this was unusual. To the vets, I urge you to test all possibilities. Yes he's old, but he was healthy. Unacceptable. I'm heartbroken.
Jan 12, 2025 · AnaI have a chocolate lab female who is very protective and weird about people and isn’t a huge fan of men. She did fabulous today! Coming from her old vet who said she is very aggressive and wanted her drugged before every visit because they were scared of her(they never let me back in the room with her during visits so what do you expect?) to here where the tech & doctor went slow with her and everyone was so friendly ! I am very happy I switched and I fully trust them to make angel feel as welcomed and safe as possible. Prices aren’t too bad also. I will recommend them to anybody ! Definitely GO HERE & NOT Bay Area Vet they rush and don’t take the time to make your dog feel comfortable and happy in a not so fun place for them.
