In-Home Service: This is perhaps their most significant feature. This peaceful transition is a direct result of the in-home care model.
Compassionate and Empathetic Staff: The team at Coastal Pet Hospice, including Dr. Tayloe and Dr. Jennifer Anderson, is repeatedly praised in customer testimonials for their compassion and empathy. Their understanding approach helps families navigate a painful process. As another review notes, "everyone was full of compassion and empathy. Dr Anderson explained everything clearly and gave us privacy to say our goodbyes." This emotional support is invaluable.
Coordination of Services: They go above and beyond by coordinating with other services, such as cremation providers, so that the family does not have to. This seamless process, as described in the review for River, "coordinated our girl River’s cremation with Southeastern Pet Cremation so I didn’t have to do anything except love on Riv," is a testament to their comprehensive and caring service.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My baby Misa was ready to take her long nap and my choice to contact Coastal Pet Hospice could not have been a better choice. Her final few days were exhausting and uncomfortable yet her final moments were pure bliss and happiness. I will miss her sooo much but I have some peace knowing that we got to say our proper goodbye and a huge reason for that was Dr. Tayloe. Trust me. Use this service. I have been crying since it has happened but I always calm down knowing just how wonderful and magical her final moments were. RIP Misa ❤️❤️❤️
August 13 · Phunk PhenomenonFrom leaving an email for more information to texting with Lisa (my choice, I didn’t want to talk on the phone during this time) to having Dr. Jennifer Anderson in our home, everyone was full of compassion and empathy. Lisa coordinated our girl River’s cremation with Southeastern Pet Cremation so I didn’t have to do anything except love on Riv. Dr Anderson explained everything clearly and gave us privacy to say our goodbyes. It was a painful process but each of these people made River’s crossing over the Rainbow Bridge a peaceful and loving experience. If we ever need them again, I wouldn’t hesitate to call them
July 12 · Holly KajutDr. Tayloe treated my sweet boy as if he was her own. She was kind, compassionate, and professional during our most vulnerable time. Couldn’t have hoped for a more comforting veterinarian for his euthanasia. Highly recommended.
October 15 · nicki luttrellDr. Tayloe treated us and our dog with the utmost compassion, respect, and dignity. She made one of the hardest things we've ever had to do just a little bit easier. This is a wonderful service than I cannot recommend strongly enough. Thank you so much Dr. Tayloe.
March 15 · Aaron HoffmanI cannot put into words how kind and loving this service is. It felt so natural and I am certain my cat only felt love and gentleness as she slipped into her next adventure. Thank you very much for the service you provide.
