So competent, pleasant, easily accessible, helpful and understanding!!! I could go on & on ...she's hands down the best equine vet I've ever had for my horse. Book her! You'll be so glad you did!!
Nov 09, 2024 · Jane ImholteMy horse Fad started seeing Dr. B several months ago because I had started stabling him at a new barn. The owners of the barn use Dr. B and sing her praises. Fad has had issues with his feet, his weight, cresty type neck and was a nervous horse, but tender and sweet. The owner of the barn is so very knowledgeable and took one look at Fad and said he had a metabolic issue (thyroid) and was starting to Founder. She said, she would have Dr. B come over and look at him. Dr. B confirmed the metabolic issue, gave him a thyroid powder for daily use. She confirmed his foot issue. I have a highly recommended farrier (who takes care of all the horses at Classic Arabian), he also confirmed his pre-foundering. Dominic has fixed Fad’s feet. They are beautiful, now. With Dr. B properly diagnosing Fads’ issue and putting him on the correct medication and the proper shoeing, Fad is a new horse. Now, we are working on him to add a bit more weight and muscle.I was told before he had pre-Cushing’s Disease. I was sure that wasn’t the case because he had no outward signs of it, however I trusted the person who owned him, before I bought him and who ran the barn where he was at. He was being given a highly expensive supplement by her suggestion and in fact was over using it. His former vet and a second opinion vet, wanted me to have him injected. Neither did any blood work, or disagree with the former owners opinion and wanted him on Previcox indefinitely. It was all very expensive, Fad wasn’t sound, in fact he was deteriorating. I was really unable to ride him without him being sore and was afraid I might have to do the unthinkable. But, as I said, Fad is a new horse. Dr. B, is the best vet, by far. She is concerned for the animals that she cares for and she is compassionate. She doesn’t just jump to the easiest “solution”. Thank you Dr. B! And also a shout out to my farrier, Dominic and Classic Arabian! Fad and I are so happy to be in your care.

Mar 17, 2025 · Rose HastingsiI had my first experience with Dr. B last evening and it was nothing short of companionate, professional and mind easing. Our Goat, Norman, got into a rhododendron bush and commenced to enjoy some fresh green leaves. The next morning he began foaming at the mouth, vomiting, wouldn't eat or drink and became lethargic. We got the number for Dr. B from Shelly, who we buy hay from. Dr. B was more than eager to see Norman as soon as possible. Following our discerption of his actions and her initial exam, she determined he had rhododendron poisoning. She prescribed probiotic paste and a roughage diet for three days and monitor him. Norman has done a complete turnaround. Began eating and drinking last evening and continues to improve. Thank you so much, Dr. B.Sean, Dave and Norman the Goat
