May 15, 2025 · Sarah SmithMy one year old dog has “Happy Tail Syndrome”. Essentially he wags his tail so hard it bangs in to things until he bleeds. And by bleeds, I mean slippers the walls, doors, floor - everything.I called for an appointment - explained that my breeder and trainer both felt the only solution may be a procedure to amputate it - so I asked if they did these procedures. They said yes, but they’d have to see him first. After a couple hours at their facility, I was charged $234 for:A consult, Rabies shot, fecalyzer, three meds and some shampoo. And was told no on the procedure because his issue was a skin irritation.I explained that he has banged his tail 5-6 times over the past few months (the 6th or 7th time happened in the office - he splattered blood on the walls where he met the Vet as well as in the waiting room.)So I paid and left. I immediately went to another Vet in town that had walk ins and as soon as I walked in they knew he had “Happy Tail Syndrome”.End result - he has an appointment for the procedure in a week and a half - (they offered to do it tomorrow!!)I went back to College View to ask for a refund for the things we were going to be needing and I was told they didn’t offer refunds. And the statement was made that they didn’t remove body parts from pets unnecessarily.Understood.But you certainly charge a lot of money for unnecessarily things!

Mar 07, 2025 · Sarah RA couple nights ago, my dog started acting really lethargic, wouldn't eat, had mild labored breathing, and was stiff in his back legs. I took him to the ER vet and they did some X-rays but found nothing significant. Yesterday morning I woke up to my dog cold to the touch and shivering, still wouldn't eat, and refusing to even stand up. After calling around to multiple vet offices that were booked up, I called College View and they were able to get us in late in the morning. They did a full workup and found that my dog was having an acute pancreatitis attack. They gave him nausea medications and antibiotics and by last night he was eating again and moving around better, continuing to improve today.I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Flynn and the vet techs for listening to my concerns and believing me that there was something wrong with my dog. On top of that, I told them that he was very wary of and nervous around new people and places, and they were SO good with him. They moved slowly, took their time, and moved at his pace.Despite the circumstances of my dog's illness, it was a great experience, and if I ever find myself in a similar situation with any of our dogs again, I will be taking them here.

Dec 20, 2024 · Britney ColeNothing but great experiences there! My two dogs have been seen here several times over the last month as we're preparing to move overseas. The staff is so friendly and i feel they have really went above and beyond to make sure everything is documented correctly and sent to the correct people to ensure a smooth transition out of the country.
